The furniture in the rooms is old, not modern and nice like the reception is! Expect to walk 20/30 minutes to the city center! For our 2 nights stay, we didn t used the bus, just walked to the city center. I didn t like the fact that you have to pay for the parking (7,5 Euro/day).

The room was spacious and clean. Nice inside pool with beautiful views over Porto, sauna and hot tub included. Good breakfast. Nice modern reception. Friendly staff. We received a bottle of water and apple just some minutes later after we entered the room. I asked for an iron and they sent someone with an iron!

Front desk staff was not helpfull due to lack of English. The first time we walked to the Hotel was a little suprised by the homeless people sleeping on the square. Pool only could be used with slippers and cap which was not provided. Safe had to be hired on daily basis. Restaurant is extremly over priced.

The room and the bathroom was nice and spacious, location of the Hotel is good however the ertnace is not easy to approach.

This hotel is slightly outside of the main town area (20 minutes walk to the centre). The area appears slightly run down, as does the exterior of the hotel. Evening buffet food was overcooked and then presented luke-warm. It was stodgy and comparable to school food! The 'hot' food at breakfast was also presented luke-warm. The hotel put this down to a one-off problem with their food-warmers. I am not too sure. All the beds being offered are twins pushed together to make a double bed.

Pool, steam room and dry sauna all good. The hot-pool / jacussi was at the same temperature as the pool and therefore not warm enough.

The pool was fine. The pool area was poor for its size. There were only 9 lounge chairs and that's it! No other place to sit or place your belongings while swimming. One could get a locker to leave towel, fine. But no place to sit and relax because others had taken the chairs by leaving their belongings on them. The hotel charges for a lock for the safe, really! Wifi on the 12th floor was dismay and spotty at best. The immediate property around the hotel an abandon building. From our window we could see and totally unfinished structure that was started and halted months if not years ago. Maybe 2008?

The staff was excellent and very attentive. Especially Ana K in the dining room who went the distance for us to get a nice table. They do give you a paper card that offer 50% off a drink at the bar, and a free bottle of wine when you buy two dinners in their dining room.

    - The safe for my room (and my friends) had the lock removed, not great. - The check-in took far longer than it should have, involving multiple bits of paper being printed off for no reason. And there were only 3 people on reception for such a huge hotel, if you want to ask them a question you better be prepared to stand in a queue for 10 minutes. - The air conditioner kept the room very cool, but would make a flapping noise every couple of minutes for some reason, made it quite difficult to sleep. - There aren't enough lifts for such a large hotel, it makes long waits in the morning inevitable. - The hotel bar is extortionately priced, drinks are more than double the price of bars that are 2 minutes walk away.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was OK, there were some complimentary apples brought up to the room.

When we were there, there were kids and even adults jumping on the pool, splashing water all around outside it. Even though there is a sign asking not to jump. I called the reception to interfere, but no one came there while I was there.
