Nothing really about the host or apartment. The construction work noises across the street were sometimes annoying, but that's not in Zeza Control. If you drive, you are OK. If you walk, you'd better be in good shape since the 550 meters up and down on a very steep road could be very challenging to some. For us it was a part of exercise regime, so I carried lots of groceries as well, but it's only for the fit individuals.

Host. You are in good hands with Zeza. She offers everything you need to have worry free stay. Location. Lovely view. Quiet host. Apartment. Large, Clean, Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, nice furniture, good shower.

This was the best apartment we stayed during our three week holiday in Madeira. The apartment is clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and quiet. It has all the comforts of home you might need + a big double bed, which is not normal in Madeira! Unlike other places we stayed, this apartment was not cold and damp at all, because it has ac/heating system. Location is great up on a cliff above Calheta marina and a handfull of nice restaurants. Communicating with Zeza was easy and quick, and we got a lot of good tips about Calheta.

Nothing we didn't like. However, if you have difficulty with mobility, steps and walking up and down steep hills this may not be for you! the advantage of course of being high up is the reward of the views from the balcony, sitting room and principle bedroom which were amazing in all weathers.

Zeza is the perfect host and we loved our stay at the apartment. The accommodation was beautifully furnished, clean and well equipped. It had everything you could need. Great communication from Zeza, who met us outside the accommodation to show us where to park and to orientate us to the apartment and the local area. I would not hesitate to recommend staying here.

Zeza's Sky is the perfect place to relax and explore the Western part of Madeira. The apartment was quiet and very clean, had fantastic sea views, a well-equipped kitchen and washing machine, and the little welcome gift was a nice touch. Zeza and her family were very welcoming and friendly. We were sad to leave and would definitely stay here again!

Zeza's Sky is one of three apartments she rents out. Sky, as the name suggests, is the top apartment. The view from the apartment is spectacular. The apartment is in a cul-de-sac. It's a very quiet street and you're at the end of it. Parking is on a fairly steep hill, so make sure you turn the wheels inwards. There is a terrace with table and chairs. The BBQ is just around the corner. The kitchen is well equipped. The TV has more than enough channels, including English, Portuguese, Spanish, etc. The nearest grocery store is opposite the marina, about 4-5km down the hill. All in all, we enjoyed our stay at Zeza's.

We loved everything. The only thing we can suggest is that you rent a car if you'll be staying at Zeza's, since it's about a 30 / 40 min drive from Funchal and other areas of interest. Otherwise, Calheta is pretty well located and you can walk to the beach / supermarket from the place. Do bear in mind that if you walk to these places you'll be going downhill on a steep road, so it is easier compared to if you walk back!

Zeza's Sky exceeded our expectations and it was way better in real life than the photos showcased. Zeza was very welcoming and kind, she provided us with a wonderful list of recommendations and made us feel very comfortable during our stay. The place itself has 2 bedrooms and one of the bedrooms faces the balcony with great views of the sea and sunrise skies. If you are lucky like we were, you will be able to witness pink sunrise skies. The studio is equipped with everything you need to cook, do laundry and toiletries to shower. Overall, it was an excellent stay and I would recommend it to anyone who is visiting Madeira for the first time.

Location with beautiful view on the ocean, very quite area but close to the beach/shops/marina if needed. Amazing Zeza makes you feeling like being home and providing all information you needed, really very nice equipped and comfortable appartment providing all you could need from cooking to washing and bedroom with ocean view where i had a best sleep for long time, terrace where you can sit/eat and see and have beautiful view on the ocean (even better than we expected from photos)

We had a little difficulty finding the property initially. Please make sure you have the house number before you travel. We didn’t realise that we’d only been supplied with the road details from Booking.com. We rang Zeza and she was very helpful (her spoken English is very good, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to her) and once we had the house number, the property was easy to find.

Zeza is wonderful, she has 3 properties at the location and they are clearly her pride and joy. The standard of furnishings and the items supplied for use are exceptional. The bed in the main bedroom is huge and the most comfortable I have ever had on holiday. The view was better than expected from the pictures and the property is located on a very quiet no-through road. The path down to the beach is very steep, but there is parking along the seafront (payments by coin / card meter until 7pm), so you can also drive down if you need the beach / shop.
