People not supposed to be in the private areas were allowed to come and go . Using both the bathroom and kitchen when they shouldn't have been. The second entrances to the private rooms need to be made more secure. Stronger doors. Better locking mechanisms for the doors.

The private room was comfortable. Good bed. Air-conditioning. Bathroom and kitchen attached to the private rooms. These are adequate. Juan and Diane lovely people. Helpful. John speaks good English. Not too far to walk for shopping, eating out as well as about 10 - 15 mins to the main street and park of the Old Town downtown area.

Lovely hosts. Nice & relaxed excellent location All facilities up to standard. Excellent balcony for relaxing. This is about as inexpensive as it gets & still perfectly liveable.

The breakfast ist just bread and jam. Not enough to feed all guests of the hostel. And on some days there was not even bread at all!

Everything! Nice people, friendly owners, a nice terrace, a well equipped kitchen, good wifi, fans, plugs and a curtain at every bed, enough space in the courtyard so that I was able to clean my tent. Is such a nice place! And it’s cheap!

I stayed one night there. And i couldn’t sleep. Because of the noise. It was 1 am and 4 am. Not in the hostel but there was a music sound and never stopped. Breakfast was not enough

It is super cute hostel. There are two little dogs. They are really friendly. Stuff is really nice. Good location. There are supermarkets near by.

There were only two shower/WC which was not enough. Breakfast was very simple jam, margarine and bread. Coffee and mate too.

It was a hostal environment. You could socialize with other people. I like the patio. It was a quiet place.

I was lacking communication. Nobody told me till when the breakfast is and it the morning I was surprised that I came too late. When I came in the evening and rung the door nobody came to open and nobody reacted on my messages. Luckily other guest came to open.

The location is great, I loved the balcony, people are friendly.

The very relaxed approach resulted in guest/s consuming my food. This type of behaviour is typical of low end backpacker guest houses so it's a shame it occurred at the wonderful La Petite Maison.

I loved the staff and my single room accommodations. They have coffee , bread, and jam in the mornings. It's close to the center as well. It's a no frills kind of place, and the price is right.Great owner.

I had a private room. I saw the dormitory and it would not work for me - the toilet has a plastic shower curtain separating it in the bedroom.

The owner goes out of her way to help even asking a worker to accompany me to the bank. Also arranging for me to have a manicure and pedicure in the room.

We did share the dorm with a mom and her child who are actually living there, with dogs coming and going in the room… why not, but it wasn’t a real dorm as you expect it in a hostel. Maybe it would be worth it to mention it, and therefore lower the price as well !
