Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaGym - half of the equipment is broken Sauna - when it is heated it has a very strange odour. I changed my mind and did not go there Breakfast- good variety, but restaurant staff is very lazy and disrespectful. They will not bring more food until there is literally nothing left and you have to ask them twice . “Hot food” such as eggs, bacon , potatoes was cold . There were burners underneath, but they were not working . Fruits were very tasty and very good quality, but again, you have to ask them to bring more.
Location, close to buss station. Nice staff at reception

United States of AmericaI honestly can say anything negative about my experience.
Luxsur has a great breakfast and the best coffee in town. The gym is excellent and the steam room is fantastic. The rooms are clean and there is actually hot water- not the electric showerhead that's usually found in hotels here in PGY.

United States of AmericaI had a very nice experience staying at LuxSur in Encarnación. Everything was excellent - the hospitality of the staff, the room, the breakfast, the location. The space was clean and quiet. The hotel is just a few blocks from the bus terminal, and also close to the river and the city center. There are many shops and restaurants nearby and the area feels safe. Highly recommended.

ArgentinaThe smart lock you installed its not a good idea. You need to remember an impossible 8 digits code all the time or walk with a paper with the number in your pocket. The classic plastic key card system it's a lot better.
breakfast is really good except the quality of the coffee itself which it's impossible to drink. Please offer an alternative like an espresso machine or a capsule coffee machine. I have no problem to pay extra for that.

GermanyIt was horrible, after our arrival (the reception staff was rather unfriendly/unenthusiastic) they had a problem with the lock of our door. First they couldn’t get in anymore (our luggage was in there already and we couldn’t access it), then the lock mechanism would emit a loud beeping constantly which took a long time to solve as well. After almost two hours (it was almost 1am already and we were dead tired after a whole day of driving!) we were able to go to bed and sleep with a door that was more or less closed. We asked for a different room, which they couldn’t/wouldn’t provide and the whole process took place with super annoyed staff and without a single apology. The room (we had a deluxe suite) was not clean, especially not the bathroom. I don’t mind so much, that it’s super old fashioned and not renovated at all, but half the door frame hung loose (we were afraid it would fall on our heads) and the lack of cleanliness in the bathroom as well as the dubious stains on the velvet chairs were pretty annoying. For breakfast: We arrived at 9am and everything was empty. After asking they actually took care to refill most things. For Paraguay I would say it was a decent breakfast buffet (just don’t expect European standards). The rooftop terrace was closed unfortunately, the pool small and the water looked so brackish, that we decided against going in. Overall it wasn’t a nice experience at all. We never got a reply after asking for a reimbursement with all the trouble and the overall lack of friendliness was very uncommon compared to a lot of other experiences in Paraguay. I definitely can’t recommend this place! Take any other if you want to spend some time in Encarnacion!
Nothing!

ArgentinaRooms are too close to elevators. For some reasons, elevators makes a loud BIP sound all the time, 24h a day. Also, there room was pretty small and ugly.
Staff is super friendly and polite. Breakfast is good and the location is great if you need to go to the bus station. Great A.C.

United States of AmericaSee above. There was probably a time where this place was a fine hotel but everything now is dated and age has not been kind to it. There are also a lot of little things like a tea kettle without cups or other supplies. The staff was not unkind but also somewhat distant.
The best way to describe the property is not in terms of likes or dislikes but rather ambivalence.

ArgentinaRooms needs a better design. Looks old and ugly. Also mine was incredible small. The decoration of the hotel is pretty strange and tacky. Maybe is a local concept but it's clear the decoration looks weird. Anyway, the hotel is okay and I recommend it.
