“This was such a peaceful and beautiful escape to the countryside! Although you are sleeping in a tent, there is access to all amenities you may need, so there is no lack of comfort. We got lucky with the weather (warm and sunny), but we imagine that being here on a rainy day may not be so great.
We also had unexpected visitors during the night - cows - which I’m sure wasn’t a part of the plan for this stay from the hosts, but that somehow made the stay even more memorable!”
“The owner communicated with me throughout my arrival day in English to assure my arrival goes smoothly. They allowed me to bring my bike into my room to ensure that it is kept safely. The room itself was spacious enough for it, it had 4 beds but was all mine. Bathroom and the room itself were very clean. The place is in the quiet part of Aluksne so it was very quiet throughout the night although it was a long weekend. The center is still quite close though. There was also a little shared kitchen.”
