    “The lodge was very cosy and is in a beautiful setting just off the Blue Ridge Parkway. There’s a lovely lake in the centre of the resort where you can fish and a playground and clubhouse for those with kids. It was very quiet and provided the perfect opportunity to just switch off.”

    “Such a stunning property with two large decks overlooking the treetops with the view beyond in the distance through the trees. Travelling with my husband and our 14 year old and also my elderly father in law so he had the bedroom and en suite on the ground floor with dining room/kitchen/living area. Downstairs are two more bedrooms, a double and a twin, each with doors out to another deck with a swing seat. There’s also another bathroom with shower on this floor. Everything was immaculately clean and the kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need (just bring your food obviously!). Dale and Brandy the maintenance couple arrived during our stay to replace the TV. We didn’t;t know it wasn’t;t working because we dont really watch tv on holiday but it was amazing service that they were on it to fix it during our stay. It is an incredible drive up to the property - very twisty and turny through the trees. You’ll need sat nav or Apple Maps! Also try to get there before dark - it’ll be easier to find. It is well positioned to enjoy Cashiers, Highlands and the waterfalls around there. We also went to Cherokee and the Nahalala Outdoor centre (to hike a little of the Appalachian trail)”
