Brasov is a romantic, vintage and full of art souls. Old town is a great place to hang out so many days. There are exclusive shops and outstanding gifts choises. I could find organic, healthy and delicious food. Also local food taste great. Walking any place is so easy. You need to try the best ice cream in the heart of the old town. There was jazz festival and I had chance to listen to Brasov flarmoni orchestra which was bonus for our trip. We stayed two and a half day but it never enough for us! I will definitely come back and stay longer. The mountain, forest and the weather was amazing. Brasov will be in my heart till I visit again🧡Guest review byOrhanTurkey - 8.0

Beautiful place to escape to for some quiet, and just a 20-minute bus ride to the historic center of Brasov. It's also a quick taxi ride to a couple of caves and historical sites near Rasnov. Lots of hiking and a gorgeous spa -- basically, something for everyone. Restaurants along the main road/lake area play loud pop/folk music constantly, so if quiet is important to you, book further up the road. Be prepared that dining options are limited and a bit expensive as it's a resort town, but you have grocery stores and more restaurant variety nearby in the city for a pinch.Guest review byRachelUkraine - 8.0

Great base for traveling over to Brasov, Bran Castle, Rasnov Fort, Dino Park Much more chilled area. Wonderful La Prominada restaurant down the road. Playground inside & outside, lovely staff and will deliver food to guest house. Also lovely walk in forest just beside there. Rasnov Fort is closed. There are a lot of accomodations, for all tastes and purses. You can find a lot of good restaurans( I liked Vallahia Inn very much). It is very busy on weekends and the traffic on the main road to Bran can get to a standstill. It is a good starting point for hikers for Bucegi Mt. or Piatra Craiului. Făgăraș is located almost halfway between the larger cities of Brașov and Sibiu, both of which have a well-known tourist reputation. However, it is worth taking the time to stop in Făgăraș. Făgăraș is a tourist destination in its own rights. The Făgăraș Fortress is a must-see! There is a wide variety of restaurants and food options available. The Daffodil Meadow is a great place for nature lovers and is only 25 minutes away. Fundata is one of those rare places where time slows down and nature takes center stage. Nestled at 1,360 meters, it’s the highest village in Romania, and you feel that altitude in the crisp air, sweeping views, and peaceful silence. It’s ideal for anyone craving a break from city chaos. Fundata is remote, but manageable. If you’re driving, the roads are winding but scenic. Public transport is limited, so a car is highly recommended. Nice walkable city with an old town/ new town split. Good rail connections. Plenty of cafes and restaurants around. Uber doesn't seem to have a presence there yet but the similar company Bolt is available. Plenty of of other local taxi services as well. Depending how many castles you want to go and visit.. I think two full days is enough due to this being a smaller city, nowhere near the size of Bucharest. Bran Castle is a bit of a tourist trap but it's a fun half day out and the pretty town of Sinaia is only a short trip away. Word of warning...the cable rail trip to the top of the Tampa mountain to overlook the city is still closed for repair as of mid September 2025.
