The location was exceptional, being in close proximity to the park. The staff was efficient and transparent in outlining the charges during check-in. The room was immaculately clean, featuring a pleasant shower, effective heating, as well as an ice machine and water station for guest convenience. I recommend purchasing food supplies for the trails at Sol Foods Supermarket and storing them in the room's refrigerator for added convenience.

Proprietor Sharon was friendly, caring and took care of anything we needed. The rooms are well appointed with thoughtful amenities, such as extra throws, bath robes and toiletries. Check in and check out system is seamless. The property is private and quiet. Nice getaway from the bigger hotels and cookie cutter rooms. We loved it and will be back❣️

Great new hotel with a backdrop of spectacular mountains. Directly across the street from the free shuttle bus. Down town and a good grocery store is just a 1km away so walkable or take the bus to stop 5. Lovely pool and super quiet. If your visit to Springdale is for hiking in Zion national park, the location of De Novo is perfect. We were so close to the park that we were able to beat all the other guests and find parking - but if you want a late start, the park shuttle also comes directly to the property. The views from our room were also exceptional and the renovation is fantastic. The quiet area of Springdale also offered a surprising amount of good dining and coffee shop options. We look forward to staying again.

The property was incredibly beautiful. We had a nice view of Zion that was absolutely unparalleled. I like that. The property is really close to restaurants and gas stations so even though you’re high up in the mountain, you’re still have access to important things . I also really enjoyed be on property amenities like the restaurant, the store in the lobby, as well as the chickens and horses.

We spent one full day at Bryce.

We spent one full day at Bryce. We saw the most spectacular night sky with milky way visible to naked eyes. It was very quiet and peaceful at night. We did the Navajo and queens garden loop which was around 3 miles and covered most of the canyon. Views from Inspiration point and Bryce point are the best. Sunrise at Bryce point was amazing.

Springdale is a great location for people visiting Zion National Park. The shuttle service makes it easy to get to and from the park or to the shops and restaurants in town. Oscar's is a wonderful place to eat. We had breakfast there twice and were not disappointed. They serve very good food and large portions. I was impressed with their tea selections. We also ate at Meme's Cafe and liked it. We ate pasta at Pizza & Noodles. The serving was large enough for two meals. There are a variety of ice cream and gift shops with unique items.

Only stayed in Kanab for one night and late in the afternoon. Loved the Toadstool Hoodoos which is located at the Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument just before getting into Kanab and it is only a 1.7 mi RT hike. Loved Wild Thyme restaurant. Had their salmon dish and we shared a delish dessert. Went to Moqui Cave. Very interesting story of the lineage of the Hopi Cave told by the employees. It is very touristy but very cool to check out and if you are into rocks, gems, Native American jewelry, it is a must stop. They have wind caves there but didn’t have time for that. A beautiful area. Reminds me of a mini-Sedona. History of old Hollywood filming westerns in Kanab.

A lot to do. Tried to book a tour but no availability. So if you are planning to do one, book early. There was only 1 restaurant that open while we were there. We love the Petrified Forest, Escalante River hike, Lower Calf Falls, as well as the Long Slot Canyon. Some of the attractions need a 4x4. Wish we knew ahead of time. Overall, very enjoyable! Cute little town with lots to do.

Cannonville is in the Grand Staircase/Escalante National...

Cannonville is in the Grand Staircase/Escalante National Monument, so there is beautiful scenery surrounding it and the nearby towns, including Bryce Canyon National Park, Kodachrome Basin State Park, and Grosvenor Arch. What's nice about Cannonville is that it's in a quiet little valley, so is less exposed to the coldest weather and the winds that buffet the higher, more exposed towns in the area. It's on Scenic Route 12, so any direction you travel has gorgeous scenery! A day trip up to Capitol Reef is a little over two hours' drive away, and there are breath-taking landscapes and views all along the way. Loved it!
