Toledo seemed to have less outdoor eating/drinking places than there were in Segovia which we also visited. I think this was perhaps due to the fact that buildings are so tightly packed together compared to Segovia. Its still very much worth a visit but perhaps three rather than four nights.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I loved the spectacular views from our apartment and the historic beauty and character of our ‘Rascacielos’ property - a very modern and delightful interior in a XV century building - it felt very special! The Plaza Mayor with the lovely cathedral and the Castle area are beautiful spots to eat and relax. The Casas Colgadas are such a unique feature of Cuenca - unfortunately closed on Mondays, so couldn’t visit. Its surrounding geographical features like Ciudad Encantada & Alcalà del Júcar are unique and wonderful locations and the highlight of my short trip.Guest review byRosa MaríaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

The city springs to life during the first two weeks in september: Feria de Albacete - a bit like the spanish version of the "Oktoberfest in Munich". A leasurely walk through the city will take half a day on flat terrain. Since Albacete is famous for knife production don´t miss the Knife Museum.Guest review bysplendora84123Spain - 8.0

understated and often overlooked, but Ciudad Real is really a gem. A lot of interesting museum (tho, some unfortunately couldnt take pictures of), a lot to enjoy in the city itself and even for day trips, you have cool options to Almagro or Damiel too. Vote for Ciudad Real city for being amazingGuest review byAnitadiahSpain - 10.0

Beautiful small town, an emerging city kind of. If you are Muslim traveler, there are many shops for halal food. We ate in Curry house, Istanbul Kebab, Carlos pizza etc. So many parks for kids. and the zoo is very neat. Well communicated.Guest review byKhanSpain - 10.0

The rustic house was full of original features and had great views, excellent breakfast and very friendly staff. Lovely views over Alcala. Bonus to find it had a little beach area next to the river, very safe for young children. If you had mobility issues, bear in mind some if the streets are cobbled and on varying levels. Very good place to take lovely walks along the river. Castle and cave houses are worth a visit, we enjoyed meals at Fongones el Chato, Los Robles and Taperia el Chato. Great adventure area for young people, kayaking, paddle surf.Guest review byDavidSpain - 10.0

Siguenza is a fascinating historic town with lots of ancient buildings. It is small but that makes it ideal for strolling around. There are lots of bars and cafes and the quality of the restaurants we tried was excellent. Highly recommendedGuest review byAndrewIsle of Man - 10.0
Almagro is a historical city with a 16th century feeling.
Almagro is a historical city with a 16th century feeling. Get lost walking its small streets (like Calle de las Bernardas). Enjoy its warm people, their traditions (like Las Cruces in May), their excellent wine (both white and red), and food (Manchego cheese or lomo de orza at the Restaurante de las Murallas). Spend time in the main square (Plaza Mayor) and visit the Corral de la Comedia (a historical theatre that competes with Shakespeare's Globe).Guest review byJosé - 8.0

Clearly Talavera de la Reina was of significant importance in the past, but it has been marred by signs of urban decay and high unemployment levels. Still, it is worth a look to appreciate the lessons that history is constantly trying to teach us.Guest review byAnneSpain - 10.0
The town centre was quite compact and flat for pedestrians.
The town centre was quite compact and flat for pedestrians. There was no tourist office that we could find so we relied on leaflets from our hotel although there were a few good on line sites which gave good information. There were a few good winery shops on the outskirts of town where it was possible to buy the local wine direct from the producers. There are museums in the area that should be visited if you get the chance but most require a car journey. The main plaza was very well done and had a few cafes and bars around it but we didn’t enjoy the busy motor traffic.Guest review bySue JUnited Kingdom
