  • Newberry Wood Guesthouse Review Score: 10

“Caroline is a good host, warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed our break in Combe Martin, besides the glorious location. The guesthouse is elevated with great views of the sea and coastline and staying there felt lovely and cosy. Especially nice to get a good breakfast served up, including accommodating Sharon's tricky diet needs. Good job guys! Andrew Scott, Haslemere, Sy.”

  • The Northmore Arms Review Score: 10

“Landlady Simone was polite and showed me the room which was meticulous. Also showed me the separate toilet and bathroom which again were in good order. Pub I’ve been to before and bearing in mind the location it’s going to be quiet on a Sunday night. Usually the opposite on a Friday etc. Parking no problem. I’d rather pay double than be in a Travelodge stuck next to a noisy motorway with little ambience let alone no atmosphere whatsoever.”
