  “Everything. It was absolutely beautiful!!! We hired a car but we actually didn’t leave the Masseria for 3 days because everything was so gorgeous. The pool is so great for a toddler with the shallow walk in entrance. The food is divine. The drinks were great. The staff were wonderful. The shuttle to the beach is great. For a hotel that’s so good with kids and with a little kiddie play area splash park, it felt so adult and so gorgeous.”

  “Everything. From the moment you arrive at the main entrance you get a sense of occasion and that you're somewhere special. Then you walk into the reception area which is beautifully designed and only adds to the feeling. The atmosphere there is like nothing else we've experienced. We stayed in the 'village' area just back from the main square and I would strongly recommend doing that to get the full 'borgo' experience. There was a festival in the main square on our first night which was superb - very vibrant with live music, singing and dancing. The pool areas are immaculate, the restaurants are as you would expect - very good, breakfast was good, service was impeccable in all regards (pool staff, bar staff, restaurant staff, concierge etc). Clearly, the staff there are well trained and enjoy working there, and who wouldn't! We found the beach club on the final day which is a short golf cart journey away across the golf course - there are plenty of beds for hotel guests. We would love to return one day and it's easy to see why it's received all of the accolades it has.”

It was easy to visit nearby towns and a delight to come back to relax at the pool. The restaurant was great and we really enjoyed the meals we had. The staff were really lovely!”

  “Loved everything about this place! I think this is one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. The owners are so kind and generous but never over-bearing. Sometimes small family stays can be a little stifling, but definitely not here. At breakfast and dinner they bring you things to try that have grown in their garden or on their farm and can explain a bit about the produce if you want. They strike the perfect balance between professional and personable. The property and rooms are gorgeous. The room is super comfortable and stylish with a perfect blend of traditional and modern. The pool is beautiful with views of the countryside. The more you look around, the more you can see how carefully considered all the design is; the outcome is very harmonious and relaxing. Breakfast is classic Italian with super fresh ingredients - fresh coffee, fruit, bread, ricotta and other cheeses, jams and a pastry. Dinner was a celebration of local produce and a must-try. The food is very generous (I couldn’t finish it!). It was a perfect place to relax and also a great location to drive to local spots (from there we visited Lecce, Fasano and the coast). Would recommend to anyone who wants a very relaxing stay in a lovely environment, with genuine and kind Italian hosts, with easy access to the rest of Puglia.”
