This was the best place I have every stayed ever. The host was a great bloke and he told lots of stories. And we were told also this was the first time he has had Australians visitors. I hope a few of my compatriots read this and they make a booking the stay here. I'd love to return someday.

If you ever wanted to go to a storybook fairytale castle this is where you should stay. This fairytale castle came with a fairy godmother hostess named Karin. A 13th century mill sitting over the Seine tributary which is peaceful with only birds chirping and swans swimming on the river. We went rowing on the river for an unforgettable scenic experience. Breakfast is delicious and do not miss the dinners. Better than any Michelin restaurant. All this was magically and warmly offered by the owner hostess Karin. Thank you for this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Had a wonderful stay in the only room in the top floor of this small hotel a short walking distance from the beach and the famous Etretat cliffs. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. And the hotel had parking, a major plus in this small town. We were received by the owner, who was extremily attentive.

    Beautiful Location and pretty close to Etretat (10min drive). The quadruple room was spacious with a large bathroom. Beds were comfortable with nice bedding. We made a mistake and did not know that check in was up to 7pm that evening but they we very kind and stayed to wait. Apologies but appreciated to kindness. The rest of the site with other accommodation (tents and treehouse) appeared clean and something we want to try next time if we ever return to this region. Do not know how the shared bathrooms/showers were as we had our own. We got there late but the main area was clean and had quite a few food options to order from.

All the staff were professional and went out of their way to make sure it was a truly memorable stay. The breakfast ladies were hardworking and eager to please.     Wonderful historic city, but we wouldn't stay longer than...

    Wonderful historic city, but we wouldn't stay longer than 24hrs again. Kind of did the main attractions in a day. If you include a Sunday in your schedule, largely everything is closed. The attempts at shared transport initiatives and prioritizing pedestrian/cycle in the centre has resulted in incredibly confusing road layouts for all. There is little logic to the layout. We were on route north from a drive/stay in central/south of France and similar initiatives worked better, and without the bizarre road paint.

    The cafés and restaurants all serve local fare, but if you're self-catering, the market and Carrefour shops in the centre have all you need to make some interesting meals. The little shops are excellent with lots of local souvenirs, but they're quite pricey. The castle is well worth a visit, including an amazing art gallery and information about the history of the Dieppe region. There's also plenty to do in the surrounding area and some guides are available for interesting themed walks around the town. A pity the Pont Colbert is out of service as this causes lots of wasted time crossing the estuary.

    The cliffs of Étretat are spectacular and definitely worth a visit, but note that lots of other people think that too! So there are crowds of people, tourists from all over the world in this small seaside town. Parking is difficult to find or you have to park 1,5 km away from the town center.

    No outside sitting, window in room wouldn't shut, toilet seat not very secure, ensuite door catch broken. it was uncared for, lots of men coming in and out during breakfast, going behind serving area helping themselves and disappearing I didn't feel comfortable

    It was great to spend the night in Giverny as the town...

    It was great to spend the night in Giverny as the town became enchanting once the tourists had left. In the morning before the tourists arrived we were able to have a relaxed breakfast with locals and take a pleasent walk. We had a car so we were able to drive to a wonderful restaurant outside the village.
