Location was perfect for us on the east side of Harrisburg and just a hundred or two yards from the Interstate we needed. Staff is obviously very well managed as they are some of the best we have experienced ovr many decades of travel in the US and internationally.

Really nice and helpful staff. The pool and hot tub were fun, the gym was practical, and breakfast was good. The location is great, and the price was fair.     Despite the facility being rated “excellent” on Booking.com, our experience did not reflect that. At $130 per night, the quality was quite disappointing. The finishes and materials throughout the property felt cheap and low-quality. The in-room AC unit was extremely loud, making it difficult to rest comfortably, and the toilet flush was excessively noisy—especially disruptive in a smaller family room. Basic amenities were poorly provided; essentials such as soap and toothpaste were either missing or insufficient. Additionally, the entire property, including the guest rooms, had an overwhelming chlorine smell, likely due to poor ventilation from the pool area. Overall, this stay did not meet expectations given the price point and online rating.

    Our stay was brief, one afternoon and evening, in Hersey, we stayed just in the park for that time. The park was amazingly clean. We went on a week day, was not too crowded. I had wished there were gluten free food options. The food selections for those with food sensitivities was very difficult.

    I visited Hummelstown as part of our summer vacation June, 2023 to Hershey Park. The hotel was very reasonable priced and located approximately 5 to 10 minute drive to Hershey Park. We not only had a great time at the Park, but we also enjoyed visiting the town of Hummelstown, PA. We drove through the city and enjoyed a taste of ice cream at the Diner on Main St. In addition, we enjoyed the scenery. We discovered the history of Hersheypark at the Historical Museum. We encountered friendly people throughout the town. Hummelstown is a quaint small town that I so enjoyed visiting.

    We only stayed one night. Had an early flight out of MDT to Chicago. But we did have dinner at the Tattered Flag on Union St in Middletown. Really enjoyed the menu and beer selections. Cool venue.

    We stopped for overnight rest and wanted a place with a pool for the kids. We stayed at the Red Lion and left in the morning. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast in Harrisburg; breakfast at a Diner and Dinner at a nice restaurant.

    Hershey world was the most amazing place to go make your own chocolate and have fun, zoo America was pretty cool never in my life seen an armadillo before until I saw one there, but the Amish country was the greatest experience to see how their lives are different from ours they make everything homemade like root beer they call it birch beer its really smooth when you taste it

    Big rooms, comfortable beds, very clean, bathroom could have been lighted better, shower nice with good pressure, most of the staff was very friendly, breakfast was good and fresh, great location, and even had an area to purchase snacks and such at the check in counter. Rooms were very clean. Bob Evans right up the street for an excellent breakfast option, and Rex Robin right near Hersheypark, which is close too.
