- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Excellent - What previous guests thought, 151 reviewsThe property is amazing - I was travelling with my 5 year old and there was more to do then I had expected there is a major Dome waterpark style set up with wave pool and slides, there are several other outdoor pools a market and a really nice Chateaux that has country club vibes but it had one of the best meals I had during my stay in France. Definitely exceeded my expectations for the cost.Guest review byAmandaCanada

St Malo offers everything a tourist could possibly want as well as the area being of great historical importance. Many French people come to the area to see something very different to modern cities and there is a wide spread of prices in the hotels, restaurants and attractions that ensure enjoyment for single travellers or families with children of all ages. The beaches and aquarium are two examples and there is also a casino if you want to try your luck. My favourite restaurants are along the walls that stretch from La Duchess Ann by the main entrance to well inside the town. The walled town is very compact and best explored on foot, while new rail links make connections to Paris and other locations easy. For drivers, you can quickly be on your way in any direction thanks to good road signs and fast access to a good network of motorways or the more picturesque route nationals.Guest review byTimothyJersey - 8.0

Great spot to stay if you want to drive to Saint Malo or Mont Saint Michel, very nice town, bubbly student life and little spots to drink or eat. One day is enough but a great spot to move around if you rent a car. It's very close if you take a train from Paris.Guest review byAndreaGuatemala - 10.0
Dinard in mid-September is lovely.
Dinard in mid-September is lovely. The crowds have gone home but it is still busy. The weather can still be warm during the day for a paddle on the beaches. There are some nice cafes and great restaurants. We love the place!Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom - 6.0

Very crowded and parking a nightmare as to access it one has to descend a long steep hill to get there and walking back up it is only for the fittest! They desperately need a circular bus service so that one can park and go by bus. Following my dinner down in the port, I asked the restaurant to order a taxi to return to my lodging and was told explicitly that I would have to order one from St,Malo ( minimum fare 35 € for a 7 min drive! ) Once down in the port the restaurants and bars were excellent. The Mayor treated us wonderfully and the locals against whom we played pétanque were really hospitable.Guest review bydu Pre - 10.0
Great upmarket small town on the very edge of Rennes.
Great upmarket small town on the very edge of Rennes. Suggest visitors drive from junction 4 to 5 and use the park and ride next to the metro terminus. Free parking as long as you have used a one euro 70 cents ticket within an hour of exiting the parking lot. Parking in Rennes is expensiveGuest review byPeterUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Driving from Renne don't miss your exit because you will need to drive to the next exit to get turned back. I made that mistake only once. Also, many BBhotels are right next to good restaurants that offer specials for guests. Not aware of one at Saint-Jouan-des-Guerets. Verdun has a great one as do the BBhotels in Lens and Compiegne.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

The apartment and location are great
The apartment and location are great Pascal the host, it's very welcoming. He went to supermarket to stock up water and coffee just before the shops were closing down as it was the 31st December when we arrived The apartment it's small but very nice and can fit a full family of 4/5 people I was a bit unsure about the towels and linen, I think a completely new sets for next guest would be much better, however we have managed to use them. The apartment was clean but not at the very best, I am fussy about cleanless so probably it's me, but overall was a great stay I loved the balcony and the electric shutters The area was calm and residential, also we had a private garage with keys underground and a lift take you up the apartment I would recommend this apartment Thanks again to PascalGuest review byAngelaUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Wonderful place to decompress!
Wonderful place to decompress! The old town with its ramparts, restaurants, art vendors was so easily accessible and fun. I had one of the best meal of the entire trip! When it was windy, the beach afforded us plenty of entertainment with many windsurfers practicing their sports. The next morning the beach was calm and so relaxing. Saint Malo is definitely a comeback destination!Guest review byMarie Nathalie
