  “This is a difficult place to rate. On the one hand its rooms are clean, large and modern and well equipped. On the other, it has the hardest pilows ever, a firm mattress and the absence of a top sheet (instead, there is a stiff, thick cover that does not actually fully cover the large bed). But it is the location that gives it my low rating - stuck in the middle of nowhere amongs bare and dusty fields and with the water across a divided highway. I had no idea when booking that it was so positioned. My fault, I guess - but it begs the question of "why would you stay in this location?"”

  “You park your car at the small port of Kaleucagiz. Then you will be picked up by the very friendly owner by boat. The short boat trip to Simena is lovely. The views from the hotel and the location is amazing. There are a couple of nice restaurants and small shops. The owner helped us to book a private boat for 2 hrs which took us to the Sunken City right opposite of the hotel and to a couple of bays for snorkling (very reasonable price). There is a path behind the hotel which takes you up to the fort with great views. Also, the breakfast served on the hotel's pier was the most delicious one we had in Turkey. The hotel has a fantastic location. Very idyllic.”

  “The accommodation is comfortable, new and clean, however it is far from any amenities and considering they don’t serve breakfast it is not worth the price. We were walking the Lycian way and after a brutal day of walking that 2km to and another 2km back is just painful.”
