“This place used to be a monastery for a 100 years before it was converted very sympathetically into a hotel. It is set in beautiful surroundings with stunning views. The rooms are basic but very roomy and clean. Parking is safe and free. The resturant serves excellent food. It is not cheap but the quality and quantity makes it a very good value for money indeed. The staff are first class. Caroline, who served us at the resturant and the next morning was on reception is a perfect example of perfect customer service. I wanted to keep all this information secret, but this place is far too good for that. I am coming back.”
