    “The location had amazing views - what else could you ask for being situated in the middle of Lake Titicaca. Vidal and his family were lovely and friendly. The rooms was exactly as the photo depicted. Our favorite spot would be the lounge area by the lake where you can just sit the whole day. The bathroom is also very comfortable - their toilet is flushable and they have a water heater. Lots of blankets are provided to keep you warm during the night. The food they served though simple was actually one of the best we had in Peru, and that's after dining at Lima and Cusco.”

    “You'll stay on the Uros, on Lago Titicaca! Heat was not available, but the hosts provide hot water bottles to keep you comfortable. This is a glamping experience. It was fun to be picked up in a little motorboat from 'Tierra Firme'. The hosts are a wonderfully hospitable family.”

    “I loved my stay. It is very peaceful and quiet. Cesar is a very good host, and tries to make sure that you have everything you need. Always with a big smile on this face! The mattress is great. Breakfast has all you need and the coffee is also very good. The dinners are simple, but good. I had to work and there is good wifi - it doesn't state on booking.com that there is Wifi so wanted to mention it. Just two points to mention to not be surprised Dinners are not included in the price. Wasn't an issue for me, but it can be easily overlooked in the description and some other places are offering breakfast and dinner included in the price. Bathroom is obviously not like a bathroom in a normal house given this is a floating island. I know some people can be picky. It's the best of what is possible though. Very clean, hot water in the shower etc.”

    “Our stay here was incredible- so memorable! The room had an unbeatable view and Franco, our host was so kind and informative. We got to learn about the culture while staying in a luxurious suite. And Franco’s family was wonderful to meet-my daughters were so thankful to meet and play with Cathy (a girl their age)- Cathy, Keira says hi!! ❤️ Really an experience we will never forget!”
