“This was one of our favourite homestays from a 1 month motorbike tour of Northern Vietnam and it totally lives up to the outstanding google reviews. The homestay is a traditional wooden building with rooms on the second floor and dining area below. It is set in a pretty gardens in beautiful traditional village surrounded by karst mountains. The valley over the road ("thao nguyen dong lam" on google maps) was absolutely stunning and it's worth staying a night or two in the area just for that. The family was very welcoming and the food was delicious, the menu was extensive and we could even order our favourite bubble tea. The room was clean and the shared bathrooms were nice and close to the rooms on the second floor. I get the impression the homestay caters mainly to Vietnamese guests so expect firm beds, thin walls and get your translate app ready!”
