    “Authentic Atins. In a town that is increasingly impacted by new developments, Acquamarina is an oasis of calm and nature. Rustic in all the right ways, with the utmost care and attention provided by Peter and his wonderful team. We were made to feel like part of the family. We were very comfortable in our room, with the natural ventilation and fan providing more than enough movement of air at night. Yes, the showers aren’t ‘hot’ - but believe me - the natural cool (not cold!) water after a hot and sweaty day in Atins? Absolutely perfect. The breakfast everyday was a particular highlight, with wonderful vegetarian and vegan options. I am missing that caponata! If we return to Atins, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Thank you again!”

    “We had a very nice experience at Pousada da Mangueira. The property is conveniently located—not in the town center, but on the road leading to all the tours to the lagunas, which makes it a perfect starting point for exploring the Lençóis. The owner, Nelson, is kind and helpful. He came to pick us up directly at the station, showing great care for his guests. He also helped us organize one of the tours we hadn’t planned yet. We appreciated the possibility to take a shower on the last day after the dune tour, even though we had already checked out. The pousada is clean, new, and offers a good breakfast. The atmosphere is peaceful and welcoming. Thank you, Nelson!”

    “The hosts did everything for us to feel comfortable: we bought fruits and we could use the fridge. In the first day, we didn't book a trip and they were trying to arrange one for us. Even when we were missed by a day trip, they contacted tourist offices there. We had a car booked to go to Sao Luis, and we were allowed to use the common area places until it arrived even though it was after check-out time.”
