“Beautiful chalet - very well equipped and fabulous location overlooking the golf course. The rooms are all very cosy with comfortable beds and lovely linen. Highly recommend staying here”
“I stayed at the accommodation after the end of the summer season so I enjoyed a quiet time here with my dog. I was there to train at altitude whilst working remotely and found the accommodation to be just perfect. It was a bit tricky finding the flat for the first time as I arrived quite late after dark but the host had forewarned that.
The property is well equipped with everything I needed for my stay. The WiFi was excellent so I was able to work productively.
The property has space for I think 7 or 8 to sleep but I personally would not find it too comfortable with more than 4 people but for a family with several small children this might be fine.
There was hot water throughout my stay, nice views and the flat was very clean and tidy on arrival.
The host was great and communication was perfect. As it was the end of the season with no other bookings he was flexible with my check out time which was great.
Would definitely return to this accommodation.”
“I wanted to review this as soon as I arrived because I was so blown away by how good it all was.
I travelled alone with my dog for this trip. I was expecting a lot less from this for the price. I travelled to the area to work remotely whilst doing some running at altitude. As it was coming towards the end of summer of season the resort was quite quiet but that suited me. There's a little gondola that takes you from the shops below right to the apartments which if you're feeling lazy or carrying a takeaway pizza home is great!
The accommodation was much bigger than I expected, really clean and had everything I needed to have a really comfortable stay. Great views from the balcony and the free WiFi was excellent quality to work on Teams calls with no issues throughout the day.
Staff at reception were super friendly and helpful.
I had no issue parking at the property - I had a 2.1m van so it wasn't able to fit in the garage but parking outside was free easy - this I understand is not the case during winter.
I felt safe and secure during my stay which is important for me as lone female traveller.
I visited the tourist info to ask about walks and they were really helpful to let me know where there were sheep and Patous so I could avoid those areas with my dog - although as a place to go with dogs, it's not great in terms of where you can walk. A lot of the walking trails from Mottaret are banned from taking dogs so it's worth considering this if you are travelling there with dogs.”
“We had hoped for a much more pleasant stay in this apartment. Here is why we did not have a positive experience:
The temperature inside upon arrival was 18 degrees - much less than outside! We wanted to turn the radiators on, but they were adjusted not to heat up to more than 19 degrees.
The (very small) TV didn´t work.
The wifi only worked on the first day with a very low signal - then not at all.
When mentioning these issues to the owner, she showed no interest in trying to solve them.
The apartment is so dark that lights must be switched on at any time of the day. Gives a feeling of being in a basement.
The furniture and kitchenware are old and low quality.
Towels were thin and very small.
Any guests with a height of more than 173 cm. should be prepared to constantly bump into the low hanging lamps in both kitchen and livingroom.
The little garden was a plus and the village Bozel and its surroundings beautiful. We enjoyed swimming in the lake.”
“Appartment is big enough to be cosy for max 4 people. Appartment is a duplex. You have most of the basic equipment, but not all of it. We liked that there is a elevator (7th floor) and that groceries are nearby. Also bus station if you would need it. Val Thorens is a bit dead at the end of the summer though. Floor heating.
Not expensive.”
“We spent our summer family vacation in this spacious duplex apartment and were very pleased with our stay. We were traveling with three children with a focus on alpine hiking, and the location served as a great starting point for car trips to various trailheads. The apartment was comfortable and provided plenty of space for all of us. The hospitality of the owners was truly outstanding; they were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to help with all our needs. We would happily come back in the future.”
“Our impression is that there has been a lot of love gone into the apartment, very high quality and attention to detail with numerous interesting ornaments and artifacts. The home made ski poles are a work of art from a skiers eye! Everything and more that you would require. We had a very comfy, relaxing and enjoyable stay. Laurent was a very friendly and hospitable host. Thank you Laurent and Caroline.”
