    “We stayed there one night during our trip to the Lençois. The pousada is walking distance on the sand roads to the restaurants – so location is great. The hosts were very welcoming. The common area is really charming with leave thatching and nice tropical furniture. The bed was comfortable with the right hardness, the breakfast was very good.”

    “We stayed there one night during our trip to the Lençois. The pousada is right on the main river promenade with the restaurants and where the boats leave – so location is great (consider, however, the noise at night from the bars) and a great starting point for the trip down the river to Atins. The bed was comfortable with the right hardness, the shower worked well, the breakfast was good.”

    “We stayed there one night during before starting our trip to Lençois. The Pousada is a historic building in the old town of São Luis walking distance to all the sights and the main square with some restaurants. When we stayed there, several of the old town streets were decorated and the main square was very lively including a little parade. However, consider that the old town of São Luis is very run down. We had a superior double room which was on the ground floor with a separate entrance from the courtyard.”

    “They offer lots of different tours in the desert which I highly recommend In general, for tours I would recommend Santo Amaro over Barreirinhas- it’s much quicker to reach the desert and the road is smooth while in Barreirinhas it takes more than an hour and it’s super bumpy Food is good Staff was helpful”
