    “This is a superb hotel on a stunning site opposite lac Chambon. We have been visiting this hotel for nearly 20 years so that must say something about the welcome, comfort and the friendly hosts. The rooms are immaculate and the beds comfortable. Parking is free in a private space adjacent to the hotel. We’ll be back again.”

    “This is a lovely old hotel that has retained some of its past splendour but is obviously fraying at the edges. The rooms are basic and quite small and cheaply furnished but very comfortable Breakfast is wonderful and certainly worth having with a great choice and would go as far to say it is one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had in a long time and worth just staying at the hotel for the breakfast Good close secure parking.”

    “Great value hotel with fabulous management and staff! Highly recommended stay and including the delightful menu in the evening with regional dishes full of very local ingredients. A perfect spot just a few steps away from the edge of the lake; an hour’s beautiful walk around with interesting views of the hills as the light changes. The owners are gradually doing the place up, including adding chalets in the garden behind the property. A great find!”
