- From $80.44 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 308 reviewsThe rooms were nice and clean and the people who worked there were very friendly and helpful. They let us use two washers with no charge to wash our clothes and they cleaned our rooms everyday and gave us new sheets and towels every day. There was a really nice bottle of white wine from Limnos in our room and some delicious pasteli from Limnos waiting for us when we arrived. We had a beautiful view of the water and Mt Athos at sunset. The verandas were really nice - great place to sip the Limnotiko wine and watch the sunset. Limnos is a beautiful island with tasty wines and food, interesting ancient and historical sites, incredible beaches, and most of all warm welcoming people. A true gem.Guest review byEvyUnited States

Unfortunately the Green Bus Service was closed due to non payment of wages so was not able to visit villages on that service. The local city bus is still operating. I was lucky to do a tour with Kanaris Tours. They do not however tour every day so it’s important to check the days of the week and where you want to go.Guest review byCinsAustralia - 10.0

Mytileni has an area which it is called: Λαδαδικα "Ladadika". In there there are cobbles, nice tavernas, cutsie bars, and so on. We liked to enterprised "Ladadika" narrow cobbles with its nice bars under huge trees, and it's tavernas. Also it is worthwhile to visit Mytileni old port. And to visit Mytilini Castle and its Archaeological Museum We liked "Pelagos" restaurant with its live music and its friendly staff. Also it has tasty Greek food. Agios Ermogenis is a nice beach near byGuest review byMorgannaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
It is a lovely village with much character.
It is a lovely village with much character. Calm and relaxing feel to the place. Great choice of places to eat and a good range of shops. Prices for food and drinks was reasonable. We visited in September and it was busy but not overly. We hired a car and visited some other sites on Samos. Prices were fair Ferry from Kuşadası is direct so no taxi or transfer required.Guest review byDouglasTurkey - 10.0
Mithimna is old name for Molivos. They call now Molivos.
Mithimna is old name for Molivos. They call now Molivos. Molivos is a nice small village on the north east side of the island. It is very popular among Turks, English, Dutch, German. There are nice souvenior, juwelery shops. I think Molivos provides the highest quality on Island. The restaurants on the harbour are very good. The village is on the hills so there is a good sea view.Guest review bydoğa cengizTurkey - 10.0

I stayed in Samos-Vathy because it was close to where I'd take the ferry to take me back home to Türkiye. Excellent and affordably food, friendly folks. I managed to rent a car from Hertz (a VW IQ3) and drove around a little bit. Be careful driving out there -- the roads can get narrow, and the scenery is too beautiful, so go slowly to enjoy it all.Guest review byBarinTurkey - 10.0
without a car it is difficult.
without a car it is difficult. It is really really small, there is nothing much to do other than swimming. If your priority is swimming this is the right place. don't except clubbing. even ice cream is hard to find.Guest review byHande - 10.0
Kokkari is a very pretty old town .
Kokkari is a very pretty old town . There are plenty of places to eat , tavernas, cafés , bars and to relax in. It is not a party / night club resort. It is peaceful with no drunken behaviour. We do not go in August so I do not know if young people go then. It tends to be older people when we go. Although I think the beach is beautiful I do not think it or the sea is suitable for young children. The stony beach is quite hard to walk on so is not suitable for people who have walking difficulties. There are also enough small supermarkets to get provisions and bread / cake shops.Guest review bySARAHUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lovely place in amongst beautiful scenery.
Lovely place in amongst beautiful scenery. There are nice places to wander and beaches are easily accessible. Nearby Molyvos can be reached in 20 minutes, absolutely beautiful place and fish at the harbour is an absolute must. Petra has lovely seafront tavernas and bars, Cristos is a must for traditional meat dishes (the kleftiko is the best I've ever tasted) It's pretty easy to get around locally by bus, taxi or the 'choo choo'. If you want to go farther afield perhaps get a car for the monasteries, petrified forest, ouzo factory etc. Definitely not a party town but if you want to just chill this is for you. I have visited quite a number of Greek islands and this is one of my favourites so far.Guest review bySueUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Good starting point for visiting the south part and even the entire island. Very nice and friendly people accommodated all my needs for a short and adventurous experience on the island. Plenty of shops and bars in the new town.
Plenty of shops and bars in the new town. The old town was completely unspoilt and it was lovely to wander around the very steep streets taking in all the wonderful views but be warned take trainers as some of the streets were slippy in sandals The bars restaurants and cafes in the port area were really charming and you could while away an hour or two here Beaches not brilliant although loungers comfortable and free but associated with a cafe Potami beach only a 20 minute walk around the headland and that was a lovely beach again free loungers at the cafesGuest review bySharonUnited Kingdom
