    “Location is ideal for starting or finishing the Theth - Valbona hike. We walked from Theth to Valbona and turning up at this guesthouse after 18km in the heat felt like total luxury! The rooms are lovely and comfortable, the view is great and the food cooked by the hosts is delicious. Would have happily stayed longer.”

    “We very much enjoyed our stay at this family-run guesthouse. The hosts are very hospitable and try to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Our room was very nice with great views to the mountains. Everything is very clean. The bathroom is one of those where the toilet and the shower are not separated – no inconvenience, just good to know in case you've never seen this before. The food is great and the portions are very generous. For dinner you can choose the "normal" dinner for 13€ and the vegetarian version for 10€ (both great). The guesthouse is a good starting point for many hikes and if you would like to go to the end of the valley to start hiking from there, there is a taxi service. It costs 30€ (which I personally find a bit expensive but if you can share the taxi with other hikers it's ok). The terrace in front of the house is great to relax after a long day of hiking and enjoy the stunning views.”

Lola is such a kind and welcoming host — we really enjoyed our conversations with her, and she gave us great tips for hiking trails nearby. The food was a real highlight: everything was so fresh, homemade, and delicious, much of it coming straight from her garden. Staying here felt authentic and personal, the perfect mix of comfort and Albanian hospitality.”
