  • Muña Wasi & Lodge Review Score: 10

“Me and my partner stayed at the Homestay with Gloria and Dario for one night. We booked through booking and arrange the boat transfer with Amantani agency at the port ( recommended by Dario ). Gloria was waiting for us at the port in Amantani and she cooked lunch once we were at their house. In the afternoon she braided my partners hair and she sent us for a walk around the island. After 3 hours walk and a deserved beer at sunset at Pachamama (4130m) we went back to the house where we had dinner with Dario and he explained the life on the island. The day after depending on which port the boat will depart from, you have the opportunity to do another walk or you can go with a local on a motorbike. The hospitality throughout the visit was great and it was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone.”

  • “Location great, right by main square and 15 mins to the lake. Staff were so welcoming and let us leave our bags and use facilities such as filling our water and free coca tea during the day we had checked out”

  • Hotel T'ika Review Score: 10

“The owner was very kind and friendly with us all the time. We arrived quite early in the morning and she let us enter the hotel and wait there which was a great gesture of her. The location is close to the main square. The room is nice and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast has many healthy options.”

  • Titicaca Ecolodge Perú Review Score: 10

“Titicaca Ecolodge is a small family owned business. The hosts, Renzo & his family are such lovely people who will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The accommodation is massive, lots of areas to lounge and admire the views. On a clear night you’ll see the most amazing night sky. The bed is very comfortable and has lots of blankets to keep you warm after the sun sets. The breakfast, lunch & dinner was fantastic. Simple high quality ingredients cooked to perfection. They even had dinner ready for us when we arrived late in the night at the lodge. I definitely recommend doing the included activities to learn more about the Uros community, their way of life and the challenges they face. Don’t hesitate to book this place. You will have the most enriching and unique experience!”

  • Sol Plaza Hotel Review Score: 7

“The property was in a central location and was clean but rather dated. As we stayed in August it was colder at night but the room was nice and warm and we especially loved the llama blankets. Breakfast was fine although they were a bit slow in refilling so you had to wait or go without. Water for shower was warm. We had an early start on our last morning and they provided us with a basic packed breakfast- water, fruit and a sandwich- but it filled a gap.”

  • Uros TITIKAKA the Best lodge Review Score: 10

“I enjoyed a wonderful short stay at Ricardo and Cynthia's floating island guest house. My hosts were super accommodating - great Whatsapp communication to coordinate my pick-up at the port. I arrived very late and the short boat ride to the island through the reed canals under a starry sky was magical. Cynthia was so kind and cooked a delicious omelette for a late evening supper for me, and the breakfast was hearty, too. The room was beautifully decorated, with lots of warm blankets and a heater - I felt very warm and cosy at night. The shower was hot - actually I couldn't figure out how to turn it colder, lol! the toilet was a dry toilet, but I had no problem with that. It's a floating island home, eco chic, not an urban hotel - what the hosts have been able to adapt to fit Western guest house standards is amazing! Ricardo and Cynthia also arranged a tour of the Uros islands and a trip to Taquile island for me for a very reasonable price. I was really charmed by the place and my friendly, knowledgeable hosts, and would absolutely recommend staying here.”
