Fantastic family ran guesthouse with a great restaurant (both dinner and breakfasts were delicious!). Comfy bed, amazing views and friendly hosts made this stay special. The location on the Jaufenpass is definitely a plus! The road to the property is well maintained in the winter (you can ignore signs about the road being open between 8:00-18:00 - the closed off section starts further up).

    The view was amazing. The staff were so helpful and kind-Monica was particularly helpful...I was able to swim in the lake daily.. The rowboats were fun and the boat staff were helpful. The beauty of the setting is beyond words. The reflection of the mountains and trees in the turquoise water was breathtaking and constantly changing. The restaurant staff, including Ali and Elias and Simon and the housekeeping team, including Janna, were all excellent. The reception staff including Monica and Massimo were lovely. The folkst at the store, especially Roberto, were very kind and they carry good quality gifts. The owners have gone out of their way to honor the history, heritage, and traditions of the space while at the same creating a wonderful hotel in a amazing setting.

    We loved everything from the start - easy check-in, very friendly stuff, we were very surprised about amount of entertainment the hotel has - from hiking/bike tours to spa and wellness like yoga and stretching, we enjoyed a lot massages, facial and spa in general, pools have amazing Mountain View, the whole territory is very stylish and clean, and room was specious, bed was super comfy. And another big thanks for the food!! it was the best breakfast we’ve ever had! And we tried first night to dine at the restaurant, and the same day changed our just bed and breakfast deal to half board, because the food was so good and definitely worth to pay for! Also amazing selection of local wines 👍 every staff was very polite, friendly and professional! highly recommended

    This is the highest value for money we ever had. The hotel is located on the top of the hill, with an amazing view of the green fields. The food is nothing but PERFECT, we waited every day for the dinner to come!! Amazing amazing amazing!! Outside pool was really nice, gym is small but packed with dumbells and multi trainer. Indoor pool and jaccuzi were very good, the jacuzzi can be warmer, but it was ok. The landscape and food are the most incredible advantages of this hotel, we didnt want to leave! A big thanks to Fabian and Philip, and the women waitress was very kind! If we ever arrive at the Dolomites again, we will definitely come back!!!

    Me and my wife have travelled to many different continents, countries, and cities. We've also stayed at plenty of five star hotels. However - this is the only hotel, which has blown our expectations across the board for EVERYTHING. Breakfast, Service, the staff, the rooms, the cleanliness, the amentities, the views - everything is absolutely immaculate. There were no flaws to note about for the hotel. The hotel literally made the our trip what it is (even though we snowboardde in the dolomites, that was cool too)

    The location is amazing - it has very good facilities, very clean, very comfortable, very big. Everything is on the spot and feels like a very nice experience. We came late and they still served us with dinner, Emi is a very professional manager and she managed to help us with everything.     The city is incredibly charming, with a vibe that feels much more Austrian than Italian. It’s also surrounded by plenty of beautiful hikes (which I wish I’d had time to do!). I only stayed for two days, and while one day is enough to see the city itself, the real highlight is exploring the trails and nature nearby. The food is distinctly Austrian, hearty and delicious, and the bakeries are absolutely fantastic.

    There is a lot to do in Merano, rain or shine. Of course, there are the local & famous walkways, the mountain hikes, bike trails, and the Dolomites are nearby. On rainy days, there are castles, the Terme spa/pools. Overall, it's a very nice town with a lot to do.

    The town is the perfect location to explore the Dolomites. Hotels and Apartments are plentiful and in every price level. You can choose from so many hikes (all different levels) you can fill 3 weeks. Depending what other locations are on your itinerary, 3 days allow you to see the highlights and get a sense of the beauty of the Dolomites. Yet, it's easy to fill a week. Summer like winter.

    This is a relatively small town and so easily walkable with lots of really nice local bakers, and shops selling cheese, wine, speck and chocolate - plus the usual supermarkets, pharmacies and places where you can get all your hiking and walking gear. Try strolling along all the narrow streets that lead off the main square to see what's there. A really pleasant and slightly longer walk to take is by following the path along the river to the nearby Neustift/Novacella Abbey where you can try the excellent wine they make there (the local grape varieties are Kerner and Sylvaner) and cheese.

    Because of the two gondolas accessible in town, we were able to explore both sides and experience a variety of terrain, none extremely challenging which worked for our various fitness levels. The views are stupendous and the convenience of the huts along the trails for lunch, a drink or even a break from the rain were fantastic. We didn't need to worry about packing snacks or lunches, and instead enjoyed reasonably priced, delicious meals along our hikes.

    Nice and clean apartment.

    Nice and clean apartment. Even we only had contact with the host via the chat, the host was very helpful though. The location of apartment was perfect. It's located in the city center. We love the view outside the living room. Parking was 15 euro per night, it's very nearby apartment. We had a lovely stay at Casa Fellin.

    Very accessible by road, well set out town with great local buses run frequently service, travel card included with most accommodation. Good range of places to eat. Well stocked Spar supermarket. Amazing views.

    Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination.

    Kronplatz is everyone's favorite skiing destination. Many slopes of varying difficulty. Something for everyone. All are very well groomed every single night. Lifts are refreshed / replaced by newer at extreme rates. Parking at the bottom station of the gondola is the best that you will ever experience and the price is quite affordable.

    Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town.

    Dobbiaco is a really beautiful town. There is a train station for trips to other nearby towns or into Austria. The bus service is excellent. You can go for hikes up the Dolomites and reach the famous three peaks. So much to do. The drinking water is amazing.

    If you like a quieter and more peaceful place to stay in I would choose Badia. Corvara was quite touristy. Also unfortunately Corvara does not have a well stocked supermarket, there is a DeSpar but it’s quite sad. There are two bakeries which are nice ones in Corvara. Food options are mostly only Italian food
