    “Fantastic stay at the Panoramic. Brilliant hotel with fantastic staff. Spotlessly clean with a great relaxing charm. The view from the rooms and the breakfast area are out of this world. I have to finish with a special mention to Gabrielle and the rest of the pool bar and breakfast staff who couldn't have been nicer and went above and beyond to look after their guests.”

    “This is a characterful hotel, decorated accordingly.. Oscar Wilde stayed here in the 1890s when it had a direct view to the sea. Now it overlooks the main street. The entrance leaves little impression, but go behind to the street parallel and the wrought iron work on the doors gives you a idea of it's former grandeur. The reception and breakfast staff were warm and friendly without exception and breakfast was plentiful. The room was a decent size, the shower had good pressure and the bed was firm. We stayed in 5 different places and this was the only one with hot drink making facilities in the room. We had a small balcony with an internal alleyway view ahead, but turn to the side and you can see the chapel on the top of the hill. On the third floor of the hotel there's a large, attractive function room with a balcony overlooking the main street, where you can take your own drinks and avoid the extortionate tourist prices changed locally.”

    “The location was excellent, close to the town for evenings, still accessible for the beach. Very close to the bus terminal & cable car if using public transport, and also to a path to Isola Bella if walking is preferred. Swimming pool area and terraces are lovely.”
