  “Loved everything about this place! I think this is one of the best accommodations I have ever stayed in. The owners are so kind and generous but never over-bearing. Sometimes small family stays can be a little stifling, but definitely not here. At breakfast and dinner they bring you things to try that have grown in their garden or on their farm and can explain a bit about the produce if you want. They strike the perfect balance between professional and personable. The property and rooms are gorgeous. The room is super comfortable and stylish with a perfect blend of traditional and modern. The pool is beautiful with views of the countryside. The more you look around, the more you can see how carefully considered all the design is; the outcome is very harmonious and relaxing. Breakfast is classic Italian with super fresh ingredients - fresh coffee, fruit, bread, ricotta and other cheeses, jams and a pastry. Dinner was a celebration of local produce and a must-try. The food is very generous (I couldn’t finish it!). It was a perfect place to relax and also a great location to drive to local spots (from there we visited Lecce, Fasano and the coast). Would recommend to anyone who wants a very relaxing stay in a lovely environment, with genuine and kind Italian hosts, with easy access to the rest of Puglia.”

  “The Masseria Grofoleo was by far the most beautiful accommodation on our trip through Puglia. We stayed in a total of four different accommodations (all four stars with top ratings), but nothing comes close to this masseria. It is super private, has a great location and the host Emmanuel is really super friendly and helpful. The grounds are fabulously beautiful and it almost feels like you have the place to yourself. Emmanuel fulfills your every wish. Another great thing is that you stay in a real trullo. If I can give other travelers a tip: save yourselves the other accommodations and rather take longer day trips to the places in the south and stay at Masseria Grofoleo instead! Absolute recommendation, we will definitely be back!”

  “What a lovely hotel. Right in the center of Alberobello. Close to everything!!!! I arrived early by 12pm but they not just checked me in but upgraded me as well. A lovely cute little room with a private balcony overlooking the street. Simply loved it. Also their staff is exceptional. She helped me figure out my bus journey to matera going to the extent to print it out before she left work. I also had dinner at their lovely restaurant. Would definitely recommend it. Food was yum!!! They have a really good breakfast spread as well. Very easy to reach from the bus/train station incase that's how you are coming to Alberobello. I left with a huge smile on my face. Would highly recommend this hotel.”
