The hotel is in a fabulous location in the center of the old town. The hotel was very clean and beautifully decorated. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if returning to Bilbao. The coffee shop in the lobby has great coffee and there’s a wonderful bakery just a few doors down for breakfast.

We took the bus from the airport to the center of town and then walked to the hotel. We were able to check-in early and were greeted by a friendly man at reception. He gave us a map and pointers for where to walk and things to see. So nice! Our room faced the street. With the windows closed, you couldn't hear anything from the street. We tried the air conditioning and it worked--even in the winter! Our room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. We asked for an extra pillow in the evening and the front desk was accommodating--bringing us one right after our request. The bathroom was large and we had no problems with the shower--always hot water. The hotel doesn't have breakfast, but we found places to eat around the hotel. Check-out was super easy. We loved staying here---great location!

This was our second stay in 10 days and our room again was very comfortable and clean. The hotel's location is just amazing. Walking distance from museums and shops and 10 minutes drive from the airport. Breakfast was exceptional as well. So many good options to choose from. Overall our stay was wonderful.

Our trip to Bilbao was absolutely magical- truly the best vacation we’ve ever had. And this was so much due to the staff at Hotel Miró. They were incredible. They were so responsive, helped us arrange car trips and a babysitter, and genuinely took care of us whenever we needed anything. We had a family room package and the staff even arranged for some toys for our toddler in the room. I’ve never met a more caring, cohesive staff. This is clearly due to stellar management. Rubén, Esther, Gorka, Bryan, Mamen, they were like family to us. We want to go back just to stay at this gem of a hotel. We genuinely did not want to leave. We are so grateful for the kindness and love these people showed us. The location of this hotel is the best in Bilbao. It is across the street from a gorgeous park with an outdoor little cafe and the famous Guggenheim museum. We walked everywhere. It is indisputably the best hotel in Bilbao.

    it was so beautiful there, the scenery was something off a postcard,we stayed on the campsite in our motorhome, the site was lovely very peaceful, but not for large campers, we are 7mts.. it was very tight, great for smaller camper's We were there to meet up with our son, who came to scatter his wife's ashes. The town was accessable by walking, I am disabled and was able to take my scooter. Very close to Gernika, a very interesting place, with a buzzing night life, lots of bars and restaurants, don't go to the Chinese!

    Go Guggenheim for a few hours, arty and droog friendly. Dont take taxi from airport, 41 euros is a rip off. I know Bilbao has changed a lot since the drug induced 1980's, but really how much food does the taxi man need to feed the monkey.

    Great location, short trip to Ferry, Very good wifi in room, Max Centre very close for fast food, secure parking for my motorcycle from 11pm to 8am, I still recommend to use locks on your motorcycle like every other hotel. Friendly staff and easy checkin, Bar, breakfast cost 10 euro and well worth it. Room was quiet and large enough for solo or couple.

    The beaches and harbour were lovely.

    The beaches and harbour were lovely. It is well worth taking the gondola across the water to the local cafes and old town area. The promenade is long and makes wonderful walking by the sea. There are all kinds of games and water sports available. Getxo is a Spanish resort. Bars in town offer snacks (pintxo) with beer/wine etc. Restaurants are on the promenade reached by lift. Very little English is spoken except in the restaurants on the promenade.

    Bermeo's main attraction is the harbour area where all the bars & restaurants are located and few steps walk up and you can see everything Bermeo has to offer. The part of Bermeo away from the harbour is mainly residential with tall towers, which we can say is the new extended Bermeo

    The Museo de la Paz is impressive, a visit there cannot miss during the trip. For dinner it is necessary to book a tablet in advance, as per all the cities in the Basque Country. With the Eusko train you can reach in 30 minutes some villages on the coast such as Mundaka and Bermeo, very beautiful places. You can buy the Barik card to travel at a very low price on all kind of public transport in Bizkaya.

    First of all Lekeitio is a very safe town. Walked a lot and always felt safe. It is the best little coastal town with beaches, bakeries, bars, restaurants, parking, grocery and other stores, within walking distance. We stayed at 20 Beheko Kalea and it was a perfect location - the port was about 4 minutes away. Didn't go into the water at the beach, but my grandkids did later this month and they totally loved it. We ate at the bar/restaurants by the port and we also ate at Restaurant Egana. All was great.

    Visited this quaint beach/surfer town in off-season and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very few foreign tourists. A couple nice tapas bars were open and filled with locals. Charming streets and views of the sea. Frequent, reliable train service available to other towns along the coast and all the way to Bilbao.

    There’s a lot to see in Portugalete - plenty of information at the Tourist Office. The nearest beach is just minutes away The hanging bridge (puente Colgante) is an extraordinary piece of engineering and is the most predominant feature here There’s a produce market - fruit/veg/flowers and plants three times a week. There are boat trips too but these only operate at weekends from 15 September We found a great Mexican restaurant in the old town

    Bakio is a terrific beach and surfing resort, but we didn't go for either of those. We went because it's close to Gaztelugatxe and there are some very good restaurants nearby. And a txakoli museum! Check it out!
