    “The best part of Makofi was the facilities - plenty of space around the hotel to relax, from porch swings to deck chairs and more! Good spot for digital nomads. The room was clean and spacious. In a 5-minute walk, you can get to the public beach. The restaurant has really good food. Staff are really helpful, cheerful and care about you at all times.”

    “Oh this property is just incredibly beautiful. An actual stone's throw from Michamvi Kae beach, with spectacular sunset views just a 20 second walk from your room. The staff, Nikasi and Elaine, were absolutely brilliant and accommodated our every need, including organising snorkelling and kayaking trips for us and were generally very warm and kind. The room was very clean and the beds super comfortable! I especially love the bed swing under the tree by the pool where I had the best nap of my life. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.”

    “A hotel with a colonial appearance. The front side near the Freddy Mercury house and the back side on the beach with a great pool and 2 beautiful infinity pools overlooking the sea. We stayed in a separate appartment building with a very nice room, just 2 minutes walk from the hotel. You can use all the facilities of the hotel. For a reasonable price is it worthwile”

    “It was a lot better than we expected fot this price, the stuff was really nice and welcoming we even got to choose which room we prefer. The room was big and has everything you need. Shower was working better than in most other apartments in Zanzibar and the water was super hot I even had to turn off the switch to get some cold water. Ceiling fan was working very well and it was nice and cool in the room.”
