Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The wifi connection was very bad and was not working most of the time.
Very beautiful hotel in a very central location. The rooms are very well isolated so it was very quiet. Despite the hotel being in an old building, there was a good size elevator. Minibar in the room was a plus.

It wasn’t the property itself but the breakfast. It was supposed to start at 7 but when we went to the meal room at 7, there was no one there and the room was dark. We had an excursion at 730 so it was disappointing to not be able to start the day with the breakfast that we paid extra for. Just be wary if you have an early tour so you might miss breakfast.
It was a lovely hotel and it has a nice atmosphere. Very centrally located and close to a delightful chocolate shop. Yum.

The hotel has some sort of a second reception on the first floor. Hotel employees gathered there and caused a bit of noise waking us up. Wireless was terrible - went to reception and they gave me a router which helped immensely. Air conditioning not working as the Hotel was still in “Winter mode” Did went initially to the “reception” at the first floor in order to address the two points above. The staff member there was very disinterested and not helpful but called someone from the main reception who was very helpful.

The reception staff on arrival was very unfriendly, no info regarding the hotel, breakfast or help with the suitcase on the stairs was offered. One morning, a member of staff entered my room without knocking beforehand or apologies after i started shouting. The door was not only closed but also locked from the inside. I had to block the door with a chair the next night to feel safe enough to sleep. Would not recommend this hotel for women travelling alone.
The hotel is gorgeous inside, it looks like a palace and the room was big, comfortable beds, warm, you were sinking in the carpets really.

The bathroom is a little outdated, no parking available, and there is no access by car due to the Calea Victoriei closing!
The location is great, the room was clean, the staff was very nice.

The reception staff , we come @ 12 am and we have a gift to be given to a friend and when we stay at reception chatting with my friend the staff on duty was complain they were make noise , all lights was close and was to dark to walk in reception, I believe he wanted to sleep !

The staff had a "dusty" feeling and the lighting in the acommon areas didn't match the level of the decorations. These gave an incomplete feeling to the whole experience. The entrance was on the side street and was unexpectedly discreet.
The historical building and the hotel heritage are well preserved in the renovations. The decorations in the room were rich and gave a sophisticated feeling to the experience. The location was as good as it can get.

Not a problem for us at all, but the bathroom (of the suite) only had a shower. Can imagine people would expect a bath.
We were upgraded to a suite, which was amazing. We felt like royalty. The room was very quiet en the bed super comfortable. The building is beautifully decorated and original features preserved. Breakfast was nice and served in a lovely room.

Even though the hotel has much potential, it desperately needs some restoration. In the end, they say it is a 5-star hotel.

Housekeeping team destroyed all experience. First too I got was smelling like toilet. Once they change the room, the t was much better however the sleepers that was in wardrobe was used before me and the key was working for 3 times so went down all the times to change it. Management of hotel need to take housekeeping issue to their consideration otherwise people will look for better place.
The guy on reception was very helpful and seems to be alone in whole hotel, so was feeling bad about him. You were very helpful and thank you for the help! You are the best!
