Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. WC is easy too short. Not even a 1.60 person could stand straight without hitting the ceiling in the shower!!

I stayed there for 6 nights, so I expected my room to be cleaned (at the least the bed), which didn't happen. Also, sometimes, there was unpleasant smell from the bathtub, which I could feel in the living room. Probably they could do something about it.
Breakfast was good (first day, I had a little problem to find the place, but it's very near) and the staff in the hotel, where they serve breakfast was very kind, they even prepared a breakfast box one day for me, when I told them that I leave very early next morning; room gives you a bit of a luxurious feel. They have a free watertank just next to the reception, which is nice. Bed was confortable, wi-fi not so much.

The parking place is small yard without any lines, so second car parked 10cm far from our car so to get out we have to cross quite tall kerbstone. I understand that this is basically the recklessness of the second driver, but i might help to draw the lines.
The location is very convinient just five minutes walk from the main highlights. The accomodation allowed us to park park our car before checkin. The glass of cold water at the room was nice teaser. Really big room. For breakfast we have to walk for 2 minutes, but it was quite fine.

Perfect location, close to old town, 5 min walk, or you can grab a tram which stop is 200m away maximum. With its own yard, and if you are not going sightseeing, there are 2 pretty decent restaurants just around the corner 50m max.

The water flowed through the sink faucet even though it was closed, the same with the toilet, and the shower drain was clogged. The shower head needed to be replaced because water was flowing in all directions.

Very good for the price and the location is great. Also a parking spot which is the best and most important for me. The bathroom has very short ceiling and you hit your head multiple times, also the toilet was broken and sometimes it doesnt flush. Has only one small window in the room. Overall the money-quality ratio is good, recommend if you dont want to spend time in a hotel, but want to visit all nice places in Bucuresti.

You will need to call the reception via phone to speak to them. If you do not have a phone line working in Romania, then the only option is to use booking.com messages. Which can be challenging.
It was clean and comfortable. Silent and good location. You might need a taxi to get to public transport stations if you don’t want to walk. Staff was kind and helpful. Great value for money, would recommend for a quick stay.

If you're staying in either room 4 or 5 be aware that the spiral staircase is really steep.
Really helpful, friendly staff, exceptionally good value for money. Breakfast is served in another hotel which is a 2 minute walk away.

Mosquitoes in the room ( they bit a lot ), I felt like I was sleeping in the nature in some tent. Noisy room, you can hear all the cars that are passing nearby. No parking, just 2 parking places in the hotels inner courtyard. One the street you cannot park, all parking spaces are private, they belong to the people that live in the area.
Cleanliness. Area - easy to reach.

The beautiful room and the location within the city. The key was placed for us to pickup in the morning, the staff was very friendly. The room was beautiful and was cleaned each time we asked, Definitely a recommendation!

The TV had poor signal. There was a problem with the WC equipment. They came to fix it at the end of the day. Lots of mosquitoes outside.
Location is perfect. The room was clean and was equipped with everything you might need. There was a place to park the cars in the yard. There was a table outside where we could have a beer after a busy day.

The bed was very soft. No seats in the room, but you can sit outside.
Clean place. Room was quite small, bathroom big. Safe parking at the property for about 3 cars, good place for our motorbikes. Few minutes walking to the tram, 10 minutes to the parliament. There is a very good Nepalese restaurant next door, highly recommended. Supermarkets are nearby.
