The reception prefer to give beds up and down are free, empty, in my opinion, and must ask for the preference of quests, bed up, or down. I prefer the bed down

Not really a big common area, in the night window need to be opened as it does not have AC, so very noisy and a lot of mosquitoes, most of the lockers do not work

First the bed and bedroom is very comfortable. Having a curtain by the bed, there is more privacy. Having the bathroom in the room, needless to say, it's much more convenient. Second, the hostel staff are so nice and helpful, way way beyond my expectations. I had a health issue (don't want to talk about the details here), the young lady staff Sorina suggested me take a taxi to the train station. I had a bus ticket but no cash to pay the taxi driver, so I would take a bus. Sorina was worried about my safety, she ordered and paid the taxi for me! I just don't know how to thank dear Sorina. The other lady Raluca is also very nice. After my husband retires, we will visit Brasov together, we will stay in this hostel.

It can be loud at night, as this is the downside of being central. It would be great to have curtains for the beds and keys for all the lockers, although it did feel quite safe. The entire bed shakes when someone is getting onto the top bunk, but I guess this is not an uncommon issue for bunk beds

Great staff - friendly, helpful, and responsive. The dorm was very spacious and I was upgraded (free of charge)to one with a private bathroom and kitchen, which were very well maintained. The location is perfect, right in the middle of the old town! A discount is offered if you extend your stay via the hostel directly

It's deep in the centre so parking is an issue. Kitchen is quite small.

The location is very good if you want to go downtown enjoy city life for a while. You need to pay good attention to find the entrance, but hostel staff made high effort to make it as easy as possible.

A bit too noisy. Hallway light turns on automatically on every move at night. It can be disturbing cause it shines inside the room.

The main Kitchen is really small and only one person can really use it at one time. Air-conditioning is on a timer and goes off around 11.30pm so we were hot in the middle of the night. Can be noisy as the room was on the street front so bring earplugs. No fridge in room kitchette.

This is a great hostel, right in the middle of Old Town. Staff are extremely accommodating & pleasant to deal with. Beds are comfortable with your own power outlet, lamp. I was in the yellow room with 6 beds and own bathroom & little area to cook & make coffee. Small outdoor area to hang out with other travellers was great. Would definitely recommend!!

There wasn’t a very good common area or the ability to book tours through the hostel. But in saying that we made do with the areas we could make friends in even if it was the hallway haha and the staff loved the idea of offering tickets through the hostel and would work on introducing it eventually

The bathroom in the 8 bed female dorm was covered in black mould. The volunteers that work there didn’t have much knowledge about things to do in Brasov or further afield. Curtains on all bunks would be appreciated. Not every room has air con.

Comfy beds and great location. The terrace was a good place to meet people and the hostel organised social nights to facilitate making friends.

The stairs make so much noise. You might hear the noise from outside, but it will vanish by midnight. There was a small confusion for the fee, but it was solved quickly.

Everything is better than i expected. My room was very spacious. the 8 bed female dorm is actually 2 conjoined rooms with 2 bunk beds which is great. The location is perfect. You can put your stuff in the reception. Beds are comfy. I had a relatively easy check-in.

The noise could be quite loud from the pub under the hostel but nothing a set of esrplugs couldn’t sort!
