Decent conditions, not quite for a 4 starr accomodation. Staff was ok, pool was ok, clean water, nice garden, reasonable clean; restaurant food included many dishes from frozen products, quite expensive (except breakfest which was quite good and reach).

The room was clean but there were some things we didn’t like there, like the old AC unit which had a big leak on the wall. Some missing wood frame on the wall that didn’t look ok for a 4 star hotel.

The gardens and the pool were amazing. There was a lot of effort put into maintaining them spot on! Great staff! The breakfast was good in a traditional way but the dishes from the restaurant menu were not so special.

It’s a pity that Venus is the same as 30years ago. Any updates were purely cosmetically. Same communist vibe all over.

The garden is amazing. It’s not too crowded, gives the feeling of space. Decent rooms, ok-ish breakfast.

our room was next to the cleaning space. not pleasant. avoid room 1111 room on the first floor, no elevator, we had to climb the stairs with a 4 month baby and our two kids and the stroller and all the luggage… not very convenient. overall a nice stay

Some of the dishes at the restaurant are not great (like pasta for eg.).

The resort is really quiet, clean and nice, very green and very well equipped with everything you need for a short vacation. The staff is friendly and effective, the processes are simple and quick. The restaurant and bar are central to the resort and look very nice, the food is good. We enjoyed it a lot while there. It was a nice surprise, since our expectations were much lower.

The parking system is very inconvenient, as you have to unlock and lock a blocker everytime you need to park your car or leave the parking spot, respectively. I’m sure a sensor-based system or a more convenient alternative could be used. Although a number of dishes are available for breakfast, the quality/taste of some of the dishes could be improved — for example, there are too many fried dishes, and the fruit either comes from cans, or is cut into pieces which inevitably loses some of its taste and nutrients as a result of oxidizing fast. A bit of variation in terms of the dishes and the music (vs the same thing every day) would also be great. The room was very poorly lit and is quite austerely designed/furnished for a 4-star hotel (compared with other hotels which, for example, offer extra linen/towels, complimentary water bottles daily, blankets, bathrobes, etc.). There was no comforter provided (only sheets) and given the chilly nights, it would have been useful. There is very little storage for luggage — if I had travelled with someone and if we had spent more than two nights, this would have really been inconvenient.

The amazing garden is more of a botanical garden that is very well kept and gives off a beautiful smell. The hotel is very conveniently located on a street full of beautiful greenery and close to the beach and the main street, where you can find shops, eateries, etc. The view in my room was splendid — a huge tree — and the room itself was clean and spacious enough. The pool is located in an area of the property that is very green and pretty, and the water seemed very clean. The shower gel smelled nice and it was a nice surprise to find “friganele” for breakfast.
