Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Definitely needs renovation. It is an old style hotel. But the breakfast was good. The cleaning could be better, but it was ok.

everything was good
A great place that fully lived up to its star rating and our expectations. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a large bathroom and windows facing the quiet inner courtyard. The location is convenient — within walking distance of the city center. The hotel offers secure parking inside (paid) and very near free parking just outside. Breakfast was served as a buffet with a wide variety of dishes. There’s also an on-site bar for a relaxing evening.

The noise definitely, was not my best night
Hotel room were found in good conditions and clean, however I did not like that was not easy to sleep at all due to the outside noise that came from the street the whole night. The windows are not sound isolated.

The parking lot is not too big so we had to park the car on the street. The praking is free on the street and there are lot of possibilty for parking around the hotel so the max. walking distance was 50m.
Good location. Comfortable room. Perfect breakfast.

Our shower glass panel was leaking at the bottom, we gave the feedback on departure and they said that they will fix it. I reduced the score further because of the uncomfortable bed, which looked more like a mattress put on the floor. It was very low, making it uncomfortable to read whilst in bed. Mattress was very firm.
Staff was friendly and attentive. Rooms are very spacious. Everything is clean. Breakfast was nice. Location of the hotel is amazing, in the centre of Bucharest.

The furniture was a bit old fashioned. The night lamps were far from the bed - not possible to switch on,you need to get off the bed.
Convenient location. The room was spacious, very clean and warm.The staff is polite,speaking good English. The food in the restaurant was delicious and at good price.

Central location - next to the Parliament and park Izvor. Big and clean rooms, comfortable beds. Very kind and helpful staff. Very good breakfast.

There were things that bothered me: the noise & the smell. Although the windows were closed, I could hear the traffic outside. Moreover, I could easily hear the football match the person next door was watching. Also the smell of the room, especially the pillows, was unpleasant. Overall, the four stars are overrated.
I particularly liked the generous size of the room.

Due to its positioning, it is a bit noisy in the evening and in the morning, due to the traffic.

It isn't right in the centre so about a 30 minute walk if you want to get into the old town, which we were absolutely fine to do during the day but wouldn't feel safe walking late at night. Breakfast options were quite limited and underwhelming but I didn't book with that as a priority as there are loads of cafes in Bucharest where you can sit and have breakfast.
A spacious room which was cleaned daily. All the facilities you would need and easy to check in. We were able to leave our bags there after checkout on our final day and staff were friendly and helpful. We booked extremely last minute - on the day as we were let down by our original accommodation, and they were able to facilitate all our needs.

Did not like the cleaning of the bedsheets. They supposed to be white but they were so used that they look grey. The parking was so small , they could not accommodate all the requests.

We didn't have room for parking, so we parked on the closest street. We were not able to control the air-conditioning. Had only settings that were probably centrally controlled.
The room was nice and clean. The location is perfect. Good breakfast.
