Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Apartment is dated but not bad enough to make you not want to stay. Also, our room was located on the second floor (only second floor rooms have A/C) and was not in the main building with reception but another building behind reception off the street in a courtyard. I only mention this because out side of the couple of people staying for vacation, everyone else is a local living there full time. I felt like I was in their space and not in my own accommodation. They were all super friendly and again, this was not enough for me to not stay here again or recommend. Still a 10/10
Great apartment in a great location!! Reception was very helpful and kind, they even let us check in early. This place is only a 15-18 minute walk from Old Town (Black Church, Black Tower, White Tower, Etc.) Very clean and spacious with all the amenities that were listed. Fridge and A/C worked very well. Would recommend this stay to anyone visiting Brasov.

Nothing. For the price it was great.
Plenty of character. Large and comfortable room. A short walk from the Old Town. Staff were helpful and accommodating. Fridge in the room. Good value for money. Clean.

We had a pleasant stay at Pension Flamingo. The room was quiet and comfortable, with air conditioning – perfect for a good night’s rest. The staff was friendly, and everything we needed for a one-night stay was provided. The price-quality ratio was just right. A nice and convenient place to stop over!

Shower drainage wasn't good, slightly outdated and would benefit from renovations,not so comfortable bed.
Reasonable price for Brasov, you will find there everything that you need, fridge in the room, hot and cold water available at the reception and tea or coffee. Short 15min walk to the town centre, easy to navigate.

The room was OK, but it lacked A/C, it was also a bit worn out.
Good location close to the Historic Centre, friendly staff. Price to performance ok.

It is a 10 minute walk to Old Town.
Antonella, front desk lady, was very friendly and welcoming. She started addressing me by my name each time I walked passed her. That was a nice touch. The room was very clean and quiet.

The staff at the reception were kind and professional. The room was comfortable enough for a 1 night stay, though if you are a light sleeper like me, you will need a pair of earplugs to block out the noises from the fridge, corridor and water pump / geaser.

The Pension doesn't accept payment by card, only in cash. The rooms are a bit outdated and in ours, we had a bath tub right in the middle of the room and not in the bathroom.
It's 10 minutes from the city center. Staff was polite and gave us instructions. Parking is available on the street and you can pay either in cash, or you can download the app and then pay. The card payment is not available.

There was a smell of cigarette smoke in the hotel, even sometimes in my non-smoking room (maybe from the open window?) Kind receptionists, but I couldn't get any informations about things I wanted to do in the area.
Nice, big and cosy room. Very good, soft bed. Free water, coffee and tea.

The building has a very charming facade. Good location. A nice restaurant called Al Centro with italian dishes, Breakfast and beverages, just across the road. Walking distance to the old part of Brasov.

The road is very busy, so it is very difficult to park at the entrance even for 2 minutes to unload/load the luggage
The hotel is very close to the city center close to the big road, but my room was surprisingly calm . My room was old, but very charming under roof, romantic "mansard". Big enough, but the equipment may need some touches. In the area, plenty of parking, 24 lei/day (Sunday free). At the reception they have cold/ hot water/tea (free) and coffee machine (5 lei a coffee), which is very nice
