We recently spent a night at this charming family hotel and were completely enchanted. It's impossible to find a more beautiful and heartfelt place. The owners are incredibly kind and gave us such a warm welcome, even accommodating our very late check-in with a delicious meal. The entire house is a masterpiece of design, with every single piece clearly chosen with great love and an impeccable eye for detail. Vera's home is a genuine pleasure for both the eyes and the soul. We would recommend it to anyone!

I enjoyed the accommodation and the goat milk and cheese. I loved the hospitality and the nice attitude of the owner of the house. Very nice place to spend a couple of days of summer with family, children and friends. I will definitely come back.

Our hosts were kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was absolutely delightful. Traveling with my family was made even more special by the thoughtful gesture of providing toys for our son. We would gladly return. They also organized a wonderful catamaran ride, where we had the chance to see an abundance of birds.

The guest house is few kilometers out of Tulcea, in a rural area, very close to lake Somova. It is a short drive to Tulcea from where we took everyday boat trips to visit the Delta. Arriving at the guest house we did not what to expect from the outside, however as we entered we found a great welcome from the owners, a great dinner prepared with local, seasonal and many even organic products and a beautiful room decorated with style and with all comfort. Breakfast was plenty and with really good, local and well selected food. We will return for sure and recommend it to all who wish to enjoy authentic local atmosphere and excellent meals.

The rooms are not very well soundproofed and you can hear people next door talking, taking showers, etc, but it didn't bother us too much, we had a good night sleep.

Good location, 10 minutes drive to/from Tulcea, rustic, quiet, clean, confortable beds, warm and cozy inside the rooms, even though the weather was pretty cold and windy outside, very nice hosts, the breakfast was delicious and made of natural products, they can arrange boat tours on nearby canals or to Danube Delta. We would definitely return during summer time to enjoy a relaxing holiday.

One small complaint is that there wasn't a shower, but rather a tub that you had to sit in (due to low ceilings) in order to wash with the connected shower head.

Friendly guesthouse in a quiet village. We stayed in the big upstairs suite which was far too big for the two of us, but nice to have the space. Generous breakfast (included) and dinner (for a fee) which are good for introducing you to the traditional food. A couple of markets within a few min walk for basics. They organised a river boat tour for us and another couple.

Excellent stay at Marcel & Alessia's place. Extremely friendly hosts and very accommodating: great communication and made our stay very easy. Helped with arranging trips and food (note: put in your order for food at any restaurant a day ahead so you get day fresh fish - highly recommended!). We definitely will be back when in the area.

An absolute must visit, the place oozes class and is so well maintained. We stayed at the room upstairs and it was absolutely gorgeous. The owners are a lovely couple who made the stay even better, from the breakfast to the meals prepared. I could go on and on about how good the place was but u can try it out yourself. The owners paid attention to everh tiny detail of our trip. Mr. Marcel has the tour to the Danube Delta too, so if you're interested I feel it was the best 5 hours spent. The overall feel of the apartment and the bathrooms were just gorgeous.

Extremely friendly hosts. They do care for the wellbeing of their guests with a very good atmosphere, food and arrangements for trips on the delta channels. Mrs Mocanu is looking for the best and plenty of food to be offered and creates a cosy atmosphere with great attention to details. Mr Mocanu has its own, silent, catamaran offering trips on the surrounding lakes and Danube channels.
