“The room was basic, but nice and clean. There is still work in progress and it will only get better. Staff is nice. They do not speak english whatsoever, but we managed to communicate no problem. They are very helpful, can organize anything (ie. inexpensive transfer to Mineralnye Vody).
Nothing is far in a small village like Terskol, but still the location of the hotel is very good. There is a small shop just around a corner and taxi stop 3 steps away.
The real highlight is hotel's cafe. Great atmosphere and even better food. A bit fatty, but that is exactly what you need going into mountains.
We have already stayed there again. Bit out of laziness, but still... May this serve as a recommendation”
“As a first time traveler in Russia just to Climb Mount Elbrus, I am glad I made this choice to stay just in last few moments. The staff was so friendly and even though there was a huge language barrier yet these guys spoke with language of smiles.Lastly what more one can ask once after leaving hotel for my Five days climb these guys found my wallet full of cash and credit cards and contacted me all the way up to base camp of Elbrus. On my return after five days they simply handed over the wallet with their signature smiles.
This was awesome.
Thanks dear I may never return to your place ( until someone sponsors me ;-)...but you will remain as a lifetime pleasant memory.
Recommendation for travelers, just walk in to this nice small place and pray you are lucky enough to get booking. It was home away from home.
Love from Pakistan”
“In one word, this is one of she best hostel I have lived in! This hostel locates in forest, a real forest, but not far from the main road and centre of Terskol! Clean rooms are just like the clean air and water in the Caucas. Nice staff and nice environment. There is even a very nice yard where you can set a bonfire and have BBQ. Do not just stay there for one night for the preparation of Elbrus. It is worth staying there to enjoy the nature and making friends.”
