Our room didn't have a view, but this did not really matter as we spent most of our time out and about.

Modern, clean and comfortable hotel in a great location within walking distance to Red Square and some local bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly and spoke very good English.

The main entrance of the hotel is little weird. When you arrive you don´t think that building is the hotel but once you get inside is a very clean and nice hotel.

Kadashevskaya Hotel has been my choice throughout the years for my visits to Moscow. If you get the rooms on the river side (make sure you ask for them while reserving), you will have an amazing and refreshing view. You cross the bridge, and you are in the Red Square. You cross the Red Square, and your are in the heart of Moscow. Everything is within walking distance -given that you are willing to walk-. The area of this Hotel is ideal. Just wandering around that neighborhood is a pleasure. I have been loyal to this hotel. For the price, assuming you get good rates on Booking.com, Kadashevskaya is very convenient, and a very good deal. Go for it.

Great location and super Modern hotel. Although only 4 stars, rooms totally feel like 5 star hotel. But above all, the location is unbeatable - on the river, walk distance from city center and red-square as well as Metro. Highly recommended.

Reception could have been much more hands on. They made now attempt to help with luggage up or down steep stairs. When I walked into the glass entrance door and nearly knocked myself out, no one came to my aid or took any notice at all. They should be up front about the serious 24/7 road works being undertaken across the canal so bedroom windows could not be left open at night due to excessive noise. I think the staff need considerable training in looking after guests.

The night life which was to be found about 20 minutes due South of the hotel and the walk over the bridges to Red Square etc, via the road works which look to be continuing 24/7 for months, in readiness for Moscow 2018

...No soap in the room :-( Plus, pictures provided in reservation page should match exact room view, whereas its was showing deluxe room images in our reservations, which actually was double business room. Option with children was not available on Booking.com and we had to booked only as for two adults only and later on at the hotel, we paid 1000 rubles/day for our child's bed for 7 nights.

We booked a suite and were disappointed, because the room we were given was not as specified on Booking.com and what we had paid for. It was way smaller and faced a backyard. We complained and after two nights we could change into the room we thought we had booked and paid for. That room (305) faced north, it's the room they depict on booking .com, and it was of the expected size and had a nice view over the city and towards the Kremlin. They had already charged our card, and gave us no refund or discount. Their restaurant was below average and the food at the breakfast buffet was lukewarm. For the price we paid we would have expected something excellent and that was not the case. If you read this you might want to look at the price of their suite, calculate and then look a bit further for places also really close to the center.

The Kadashevskaya is at a prime location in the center of Moscow, just 900 m from the Kremlin. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, the hotel is really quiet – a big plus after a day in the noisy streets and Metro of Moscow. The staff was correct and friendly. The two rooms we had were meticulously clean, with all equipment in good condition. Moreover, we felt the beds were of an excellent quality. All in all, we spent a good time and felt OK. in the Kadashevskaya Hotel. OK., but we would not go there a second time.

Small minus of the distance to the closest metro station.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the reception staff with Russian addresses, metro stations names, restaurant tips etc. was great as English seems not to be videly spoken in the streets of Moscow. The non-existence of Latin alphabet is challenging to start with and the staff made their best efforts - with success - to help us to get where we wanted. I also appreciated a lot the efficient and fast assistance of the hotel with sending of an invitation letter for my visa purposes. Absolutely fantastic service was provided from the Lingo taxi (Mozio Inc.) English-speaking drivers to and from the airport. After booking the room in Booking.com website there was a link on the site to book a taxi from/to airport and the service of this namely company was excellent. It was also cheaper than normal taxi or the taxi that the hotel provided (my friends booked that one). It was also a very safe option for a single woman arriving after midnight to Domodedovo (DME) Airport that is one-hour drive away from the hotel and the city. A big plus for the good breakfast that was included to the room price - including a glass of sparkling wine(!). All in all, it's a nice hotel with cosy, clean and comfortable rooms. The rooms on the canal (street) side come with a view of Kremlin but rooms on back side are slightly more quiet.

There was very little buzz about the hotel as there was just a small reception on entry, no bar area or lobby as such. This won't be an issue for a short stay where you just need a hotel as a residence, but if you were there for any length of time you might miss any 'atmosphere'.

Thought the location was going to be a bit out of the way but it turned out to be great, just a short dander from Red Square. The rooms were very clean, quiet and spacious, and the staff helpful. The breakfast was also very good.

The only area for improvement is the stairs at the entrance. It's not easy to lift a suitcase upstairs.

Loved the location (walking distance from Red Square and Kremlin), not far from metro. Breakfast was amazing. Room is spacious, bed is comfy.
