Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Room was quite small, but you get what you pay for, TV didn't work annoyingly, lot of noise at night but again it's a city so to be expected! No kettle in the room, but this was pre warned :(
Room had a great view of the port, was very clean and decor was really nice. Staff were very friendly when checking in and the check out time of 12 was really handy!

I stayed in room 505 where there is a problem with the shower. The water pressure is so weak it is a big problem to take a shower!

The hotel has shifted to being basic. The breakfast is tiny and there are almost no vegetarian options. Too many people in the breakfast in a small space. A tiny towel given in the room, cleaning every 4th day, a completely empty room.

I have now chosen to stay at the same place multiple times for my work trips. One of my main criteria has been the gym, where I can get a quick workout in the mornings. Decent size compared to the other hotel gyms I’ve tried. I mostly use the Dumbells, which go up to 28kg and a pull-up bar.

The only minus point is that the sauna was closed and it was -15 degrees outside at the time of our visit 😅
The staff were absolutely amazing and super helpful! The location is also great and it is an easy walk to anywhere in Gothenburg. Rooms were large and comfortable and the breakfast was tasty with many options. We especially liked that they offer late check out for free on Sundays!

Some basic things are missing - e.g. a plug in the bathroom sink - and the water pressure was very weak, certainly no power shower. Rooms are only cleaned every four days (although consider the great value for money... so...) There has been a flood in the basement (Nov. 23) so gym is still open but sauna is closed for repairs.
A very convenient location (beside tram / bus stops and ferry terminal and well positioned between city centre, old town centre etc). Open views of the harbour. Helpful and friendly staff. Nice bar. Generally an efficient and no nonsense hotel. Good choice for a budget break or business trip. Very good value for money.

The rooms were clean and comfortable but there were no cupboards or chest of drawers in the room. Just one tiny table. The bathrooms also lacked shelves. Basically there was no place to keep any personal belongings.
Excellent location. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

I booked this hotel mainly for the sauna. Unfortunately it was closed due to a flooding which was not mentioned during booking (I only booked a day before check-in) and also not during the check-in.
The breakfast is great with a very wide selection. Location is also very great, good starting point to explore the city. Comfortable bed, easy check-in and check-out and no issues with bringing my bike.

The soundproofing is terrible. You can hear your neighbor coughing or how he takes a shower at night right through your wall. The shower faucet was a little broken.
Location is perfect. The hotel is located in the center, so getting to the different places is straightforward. Breakfast good. But coffee could be better. Stuff is very friendly. View from the window to the water.

I have no complaints.
Very comfortable hotel room. Comfy bed and very quiet. Close to trams and ferries - although we also walked everywhere easily. The bar downstairs was cute and a nice stop at the end of an evening. The included breakfast had a little of everything.

Room located at side of hotel. Some traffic noise at times and building works going on outside at times. Cleanliness in our view needs to be improved in room and transition / corridor spaces and reception lounge areas.
This hotel was self selecting as we arrived by ebikes following our cycle trip and the tour operator had selected this as the last night stay. We elected to extend our stay. Hotel is well located just across the road beside the tram and bus stance. Room was basic but had what we needed. Breakfast was up to expected standard.
