Coffee cups and glasses were not cleared away from the lounge area outside the children’s playroom. Could have been more attentive to keeping this area cleaned up.

Restaurant service was very good - at breakfast and dinner. Liked the children friendliness of the hotel.

Felt we go the smallest room at the end of the hotel with view of the staff parking while staying on the ground floor... Paying 2000sek almost ant it was not worth it. Stairs to the room and extremely narrow/small, especially not convenient as we mentioned my husband had run the ultramarathon for Vasaloppet. Sent a request for table by the window for dinner but we did not get that either even if one table by the window was free all night. Felt very mistreated and hotel not being customer focused

Staff didn't realise that they'd given us a room with a broken lock until we told them

Lovely location, old fashioned bedrooms and public rooms, excellent spa (swimming pool, indoor jacuzzi, outdoor hot tub), pool table, bar and restaurant. The village is also excellent with very good walks.

The staff at the restaurant - service was extremely slow (2 course dinner took 3 hours) there was no bread offered beyond the first round and we had to ask 3 times to get some extra bread. The food was nice when it came but the overall experience was painful and not worth the high price Masseur at the spa cut time off my treatment (it was just before her lunch time) and did a really unsatisfactory job

The view, the room with view, the spa facilities, reception staff at hotel and spa were really friendly

The shower leaked water out because it only had a shower curtain. The shower was tiny. We could not connect to the wifi even using the instructions from reception. It was expensive for the basic facilities.

Make sure to arrange a taxi to drive you from the Tallberg train station to the resort. It's a long walk with bags. You can rent a car at the train station from a very nice man. We did that one day and it was fun to drive around.

The hotel was very relaxing. We stayed there for a few days after Stockholm and it was a great break. The SPA/Pool was in a separate building and the kids could use the pool from 9am-2pm. It was a prefect, new facility. There was also a great playroom in the main building with toys and video games, so my husband and I could relax while the kids played. Top class resort!!

If you arrive by train make sure you arrange for a taxi, or better, car rental to the hotel. It is a long walk (uphill) especially with bags. There's a car rental place at the train station and the man who owns it is very kind. I would rent from him again. It is best to have a car here. We rented a car and drove to Mora yesterday from Tallberg.

Spa area was fabulous! See the photos online. The pool is open to kids under 12 yeas of age from 9am to 2pm. There is a children's playroom with video games if parents need a break. Everything was professional and impressive yet welcoming and comfortable.

We stayed in one of the annex buildings. The building was tired, dark, narrow, and the room was tiny and uncomfortable. I would rate the annex at 2 stars. The beds were uncomfortable and there was no phone or internet in the room. It's not worth staying here if you are not at the main building with a view on the lake. We got a dinner reservation at the wrong time (Swedish English translation) and when we came the kitchen was closed!! So make sure the staff understands you 100% before you make plans.

The Spa is really nice, breakfast was rich with a large variety of hot and cold. View is lovely if you are at the main building. Tallberg is a picturesque town. Make sure to get a room in the main building, otherwise it's extremely overpriced and in no way 4 stars

Drinks too expensive!!!! Wedding food awful.... very cold venison. Only one container of potatoes for 20 people on our table so nobody could really eat it. Service for a simple wedding menu far too slow.... took 4 hours...... Irish went to bar and bought beefburgers and left wedding food to go to bar...... Not enough selection of drinks. Bar staff too slow....

Staff courteous friendly, informative, helpful, accommodation second to none, meals v good, beauty spot, spa brilliant, location awesome.....

The only downside we found was the spa facility changing rooms are not very baby friendly. There is nowhere to put a baby down while you get changed.

The hotel is comfortable, has great spa facilities and the staff were pleasant. Nice view from the room too. While the food options weren't great, the daily special was reasonable value and good quality. We enjoyed the breakfast too
