Friendly staff, excellent location in Gothenburg. Breakfast with desent choices to choose from. Really good beds. Shoehorn on the rom is always a really big plus.

Lack of USB ports, impossible to turn off/on all the lights from bed. Hotel is a bit old. Description on booking mentions sauna and gym but there were no signs of it.

I booked a room with twin bed and got a room with double bed. The spa area could be nicer, it was already occupied by a couple.

The asian girl in the bar saturday night the 24th of february. She was rude and very obnoxious. I stood at the bar waited to order a glas of champagne and a drink for my husband. She didnt lift her head to say hi or welcome and I stood there for a couple of minutes with my credit card in my hand showing my intention to make an order but no response. Finally I asked her if I may order and then she said NO you have to order in the resturang. WTF! How should I know, she could at least have told me. I turned around with out buying anything.

The breakfast was excellent and I also told the staff when i left. The location is great and close to the fair And the girl at the reception was lovely and we felt welcome

The gym is in a disarray - old machines - very limited supply of equipments - not what you would expect from a five star facility. The breakfast room has very poor lightning - impossible to read the morning paper.

The bathroom was a bit small for a superior room.

The room was big and warm, comfortable bed, nice view, good breakfast buffet served in cosy area in the ground floor, typical but helpful staff. I also liked the gym which I used once. Good location. Fair price for Swedish standards.

The hours of the bar in the hotel. They’d have a full house then still close early, just odd.

Location, location, location. Amazing staff and great breakfast buffet. Arash was the bartender who stood out, excellent mannerism, professionalism and knowledgeable who’s work ethic noticeably stood out from the others. Kept coming back because of him.

Generally the hotel needs a full refurbishment - the days of showering standing in a bath tub are surely numbered in 4*** hotels? The restaurant was incredibly noisy thanks to overloud piped music and an over-amplified solo musician armed with keyboard and effects.

It was all OK, apart from lousy coffee at breakfast. Incredibly helpful staff from check-in to room cleaning to restaurants. Location ideal for us because of work at the adjacent concert hall. Pleasant and easy walk to city centre.

we had dinner in the restaurant after the concert - the food was ok and the staff very friendly, but the noice level was awful because a bar-pianist played so laud you could not have a conversation.

The breakfast room was spacious and there was a lot of variety to choose from. I also noticed a lot of dogs in the room, which told me that the hotel is also a pet friendly hotel. There was also gluten free food at breakfast. My room was spacious and although the bathroom was a little small, it did not feel as an issue because of the extra space in the room. As a bonus, my room also had a balcony which provided a view of the city (facing Liseberg, the Gothenburg City Library, and the Gothenburg Art Museum). The location of the hotel was great, as it is located next to the Gothenburg City Library. Parking on site (with additional fee) was possible, which made the stay even better.
