No free parking and almost impossible to stop the car for taking out the luggage. Acces to basement but no map to explain how to go there, nor any sign showing the way. The hotel doesn't appear clean, old style bathrooms. The elevators don't reply at once when you push the buttoms, scary feeling. The staff drink coffe in the restaurant in front of the clients and pass the hoover during the breakfast hours. In clear, not to recommend.

Food was cold - however that's how Swedish people like their food. Food & beer expensive. Room expensive. No coffee of tea in room, had to et it from reception & take to room. No Sunday restaurant or bar.

Beds were comfy, room adequate, hotel central & close to the train station.

One elevator was out of order i.e. needed to use staircases often. Also not safe elevator - door doesn't stop closing while my arm was still outside.

    Good location. Spacious room.

The pricing is "dynamic", meaning that during the peak period around winter breaks value for money is really low considering the worn out furnishing and decorations. Especially the bathroom is too old to get really clean. Beds have ok comfort, but the double bed was only 140 cm and the sofa bed was squeaky. A drain odor in the corridor and a poorly working elevator didn't improve the impression.

The location is perfect with walking distance to restaurants and an adjacent public parking. Short drive to Romme Alpin. Staff was friendly.

The restaurant at dinner time is shambolic. Second visit and second shambolic delay. It wasn’t even busy this time. For this reason we won’t stay here again. Will go to scandic.

    Coffee at reception.

The standard of walls, beds, floors , etc feels old. Feels like 70s - in decay. Elevators ar small and going slow, Dark lobby. Free coffee was a plus, but I missed filter coffee (for free)

BREAKFAST! Good food for breakfast. Flexible reception, nice lobby area, "laid back " reception. Nice cleaning-staff. Great Location in Borlenge centre.

I'm a frequent business traveler and have stayed at hundreds of hotels. I know that some hotels miss the mark sometimes and that's OK. However, this hotel is a disaster from start to finish. The experience was terrible in every possible way. The first room I was given was a mess. Beds not made. Dishes all over. Front desk apologised and a second room was proposed. Again... beds not made and room in a mess. Back to front desk, which apologised again. Note: front desk person was friendly and tried to do the right thing. Third room... this was supposed to be "the best room at the hotel", upgraded etc because of the initial mess. The third room, 518... worn down. Not clean. Lamp not dusted for ages (greasy dust), chairs dirty (dried fluids) and furniture terribly worn and dated. Bathroom old with a not so clean bathtub, instead of shower. Bathroom mirror was rusty and dirty. If this is the "best room", I feel so sorry for all other guests. At breakfast, the soft boiled eggs were out and when asked for more (one hour before breakfast closes), the response was: No, we are out of soft boiled eggs, as if it wasn't possible to boil new. I can only recommend fellow travelers to stay away from this hotel. I would not stay, even for free.

If you must stay "downtown" Borlänge, location is good.

We booked a 'family room' for 4. We got a double room with a narrow double bed and 2 fold-out beds, there wasn't really room for all of us. The room was hot (in January) and it wasn't obvious whether the door was locked or not. We all got a poor night's sleep and definitely did not feel that it was value for money.

The reception and bar/breakfast room were nice and modern, and the breakfast buffet was good.

Booked a 3-bed family room. The "third bed" (extra bed) had a slope to it, so my kid kept falling out of it during the night. Paid 2000 SEK for one night, definitively not worth the money.

Outdated and uncomfortable room furniture. Protruding bed-head, so sitting up in bed was impossible. Uncomfortable single armchair. Very hard for two people to sit comfortably anywhere in the room. Lumpy stuffing in pillows. No tea-making facilities.

A basic hotel in a central location, six minutes walk from the station. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet. Tea/coffee available beside reception.

Clean, modern room. Comfortable bed. Fantastic staff at the reception, both when we checked in and out, and the few times we passed during our stay. Close to the railway station and that which downtown Borlänge has to offer. Soundproofed windows an added bonus. Decent variety of breakfast foods with plenty of lactose/glutenfree options.
