Rooms are a bit small. Could benefit from a few extra square meters. It's in front of a large street and so you can hear the cars passing by depending on your room location.

All the staff were lovely and helpful especially the receptionist. The rooms were clean and comfortable and spacious. It was perfect that dinner and breakfast were included (sadly we arrived too late for the afternoon cakes). The road isn't that beautiful but it's just a short walk to get to the Riverside where there is a nice loop for a walk or jog. We would happily stay again

It would be nice if evening meal time would be extended past 21:00 or if there was an option to have the evening meal boxed in case of a late arrival. My original travel plan was to travel from near Bergen to Trollhättan by train (with a change in Oslo), I would have arrived at 21:20 at the hotel. I asked about this via Booking.com message but was just told that the evening meal ends 21:00 sharp. So just because of that, I had to re-book the Oslo-Trollhättan leg of my trip to an earlier express bus, which I almost missed because a delay of the Bergen train cut into the already short transfer time in Oslo. There was a rich selection of alcoholic drinks for the evening meal, but for those who don't drink any, there is only iced water. Fruit juices could be made available for the evening meal, not just breakfast.

Near the train station and also near downtown and the ship lock/hydropower plant park area. I asked for a quiet room and got one, and it was comfy. It was under the roof and it was a hot summer day, but it had air conditioning which quickly dealt with it. The breakfast/diner room was also comfy. In spite of the limited food selection, I found good food for myself. As a non-Scandinavian I found the shower with opaque glass wall towards the outside weird from a privacy viewpoint, but showering in natural light is also nice. The bed was a bit too soft for me but the second pillow helped, I had very good sleep. The staff was nice.

Door locks didn't worked properly. We arrived as advised very late at night and we couldn't enter into the room. Fortunately the staff was prompt and offered us another room, in fact an upgrade. But also in this case the door lock worked only with one of the keycard. Strange...

You need to request cleaning of your room for the next day by putting up a sign. Nobody told me that, but never mind. I am a clean person, but that piece of information could have been more clear. Else 100 % ok.

A bit of an issue with parking (limited space and paid), but found a free parking on the street. Possibility to improve the service in the dining room - sometimes dishes were missing, coffee not always available.

Breakfast was good, included dinner saved some money on restaurants. Reception staff was very kind and helpful.
