Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The toilet seat was broken and it could be a hazard for an individual with mobility issues.
The hotel is very comfortable, quiet, and a good value for the money.

The hotel is located a bit outside the city center, not a problem if you arrive by car, but it is a bit of a walk if you want to go into town on foot. For a short stopover it’s perfectly fine, but for a longer stay it might not be the best choice.
I stayed at Hotell Kung Gösta by First for one night during a road trip. The hotel is nice, with bright and clean rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet was good. There are plenty of free parking spaces, which was very convenient.

The pool and sauna can only be accessed with a key from the reception. On Sunday the reception is unmanned after 11 am. Since check in was at 3 pm we couldn't use the facilities which was sad, but if you stay longer than us you might be able to catch stuff in time:)
The hotel has recently undergone a renovation. The rooms now are not only modern but also absolutely beautiful! very cozy (except that double bed was two single beds but that's ok), very organized, had everything one needed, great shower and tv. The breakfast was wonderful and had everything one needs, tho as vegetarians we would have enjoyed a little more warm options but it was great as is. Coffee was amazing! Stuff was really nice and professional.

Only twins bed didn't have any options for queen or king
It's a nice hotel a very good value for your money The staff were all incredibly kind and helpful Really good parking options, right outside the front door of the hotel

A small fridge available in the room would be my only wish, but not a deal breaker once we noticed the ice machine was available!
Excellent location right nearby the station, with a short walk to the centrum. Comfortable room. Staff were very friendly & helpful. We stayed in the lounge after checkout while we waited for our train, very nice, thank you for the hospitality!

Very charming hotel, which gives you a very cosy feeling. Room, staff and breakfast are wonderful. The have as well a really nice spa with sauna and a swimming pool. Very recommendable!

Renovations were ongoing in the rooms adjacent ☹️ bit of a nuisance but hey, improvement is always a good thing.
We stay here two or three times per year and it’s always good. Parking is excellent, it’s supremely convenient and the beds are super comfortable (except the pillows, but we have our own with us) 😎

The big window was facing the parking, making it a little uncomfortable if I wanted to chill in the room. The walls are not very sound-proof.
Big room, close to the station, everything you need is present. Sauna and pool is a great extra! Breakfast is good - typical buffet style.

The pillow as above.
Breakfast was great, with a good selection. Bed itself comfortable but the pillow was very thick and strangely, there was a thin sort of pillow under the sheet as well, which I had to remove.

Been here a couple of years ago. Still a really nice hotel, big room, very clean with kettle for hot drink. Nice Staff, abundant breakfast, plus for dinner there was a rally nice (and cheap) buffet! Will come back again.
