Room window looks out to small red painted light well, so that room gets neither daylight or view.

Spa was not open and the message on their previous communication stated that the facilities were not open for "week 2", not the actual dates of our stay. Wifi didn't work on the day.

Nice cozy room, good breakfast, ideally located. There was a misunderstanding with the room but staff were lovely and sorted it all quickly!

We had no wifi connection in our room. When we asked at the desk they told us that there was a problem with the wifi and that it wouldn’t reach our room. We also booked this hotel due to amenities available. But unfortunately, the wellness centre (both sauna and pool) was unavailable for the entirety of our stay as it was under renovation. We wouldn’t have minded this if we had been told during check in, but it wasn’t until we tried to use these facilities that we were informed of this.

The location was amazing! Very central with easy access to public transport. Staff were very pleasant and friendly!

The wifi. Everything else was perfect!!!

Everything was great but in this day and age wifi is important and here it was miserable. The staff was so nice and let us change rooms since the wifi was not available where we had booked. It must be so annoying for the staff to have to deal with this on a daily basis.

The WiFi didn’t work on the higher floors.

Breakfast buffet was wonderful, location was superb, room was comfortable and cozy. We were also able to enjoy the sauna, cold bath which was a great addition!

I don't really mislike anything

The location is excellent, just across the street from the central station. Price is lower than other hotels in the same area. Personal are great, friendly and helpful.

Excellent choice at breakfast.superb location esp for late arrival as just metres from train/airport bus stop. Sauna a bonus on dark winter nights. Great for visiting the main city highlights. Felt safe as a solo female traveller.

Finding parking in Gothenburg may be difficult, but that isn't really on the hotel. The bar was a little lacking in terms of atmosphere and comfortable seating.

The Opera is located virtually in the heart of Gothenburg, so if you're just there for fun and sightseeing, it's in a great location. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet was lovely. The room itself appeared very clean and both the bed and bathroom were very comfortable and well-stocked.

Basic inside room in side annex. Window facing onto internal parts of hotel. Key card reader to start elevator not working properly. Took several tries to operate it. More expensive price for a single room (with one breakfast) than for a similar double room when I stayed here before (with 2 breakfasts). So hoped the room would be better.

Ideal location for local city transportation, central shopping area and long distance bus terminal. Good breakfast.

When I first looked at the images that were provided I didn't think the bathroom had only 1 door for the shower. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, but rather peculiar. Also there was a lot of dust below the beds which was a big minus, considering the cleaning staff were every day in the room and the dust was always there.

The breakfast was probably the best thing that hotel offers, with the location I think it's a pretty sweet stay option.

There was no Wi-Fi on the upper levels (we were on the third floor) only in the lobby.

It was clean, cheap and in a very good location. If you’re staying one or two nights it’s sufficient.
