The breakfast buffet is really nice.

That the spa was separate from the room reservation

The location and the bar/ restaurant on the ground floor, the variety of food options at breakfast.

The lobby, the reception and the restaurant look quite nice and the restaurant of the hotel overlooks the harbour which provides nice views over Marstrand and the Carlsten fortress. The room we stayed at however was quite dated and looked worn out and tired. The main light was not working, there were big stains on the carpets and the bathroom was slightly smelly. Not a complaint about this particular hotel itself, as we've stayed at ca. 10 different accomodations during our trip and it seems that they all have embraced this policy, but it doesn't feel right to be paying ca. 170 euros/ night for a rather mediocre room and not be provided with some basic in-room amenities such as coffee/ tea making facilities, and toiletries, e.g. cotton buds, a razor, shaving cream, a comb. I do support no-slipper and other similar environmental policies of the sort of e.g. toiletries not being in the room when you arrive rather guests picking them up from the lobby if they need/ want them. However this was not the case either at this or other hotels we stayed at. The dinner menu of the restaurant looked superb; we ended up getting open shrimp sandwiches but at 25 euros per piece it felt quite expensive. Tbf to the kitchen though they didn't skimp on the shrimp.

Really lovely modern hotel. Staff very friendly. Breakfast great! Really nice modern and clean hotel

Was quite expensive for the tiny room. My blanket also had an old blood stain on it which wasn’t ideal!

    Great location and great breakfast

Extra payment to use pool and spa (about 40 Euros per person!!!) The rooms themselves were large yet not super luxurious. Nothing wrong….Everything new and nice and clean but somehow without pool use not worth the premium.

    The breakfast

Unorganised staff och lack of information about costs. They forgot to clean even though we askedw for every day cleaning. Each visit to the spa was to be charged even though we stayed for 4 nights. For a family o 4 this would be additional 2000 SEK/day, so we only went to the spa once. They charged us more for our dog than originally agreed.

The location was good and the beds were comfortable. The staff in the reception area were friendly and helpful.

No TV. A radio without a signal. A room without a fridge.A sink outside the bathroom. Gert-Wingård what were you thinking. Please check the cleanliness of the bathroom and wipe down the black doors.

    Location was good.

This advertisement is not right and I would highly recommend not booking. The rooms are basic at best and are in serious need of an update for the price. The information on bookings advised kids from 10 can use the spa with an adult when in fact they can only use for 2 hours in the morning and have to pay full adult fee. The search of facilities says it includes pools however this is not true as the pools are only for spa guests and that is another charge. The staff were unhelpful. All in all very disappointed, go elsewhere.

Amazing views, great SPA, great breakfast, incredible service by friendly staff! So helpful! Good food!

The breakfast should be similar 15 minutes before closing as 15 minutes after opening.. especially since the hotel has its own bakery…. Most of it was still there but 90% of the bread and buns ran out every morning. Thanks to the kind staff, the pain chocolat was there on request day3 15 minutes before closing. When so many people eat from a buffet and the wc is next to it, there should always be soap available. One morning I mentioned to the staff that the soap had run out and 1 h later it was not refilled…

Location is central. Parking fee is recommended. Spa is for a fee, we did not try it. I recommend staying here especially if spending time in Marstrand, so you can enjoy it. If only for a sleep pause, you’d better book something cheaper.

Shower drain was clogged on our arrival, and after we pointed out this to the staff it was readily cleaned and worked fine. Breakfast feels a bit crowded and chaotic, with a lot of people and the buffe spread on different tables, people going back and forth all the time…
