The location, in Sodermalm, was perfect. Close to the metro station, with Gamla Stan only 15 mins walk away and lots of restaurants, cafés and supermarkets close by. The building is lovely and is in a residential apartment block, so it was quiet after 10pm. The rooms (I'm nosey, I looked in other rooms during change over) were all nicely furnished. Mine was large and was absolutely superb with big windows that open, a sofa, storage and table surfaces. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The communal kitchen/dining room was bright, well stocked and breakfast was excellent - fresh good quality bread, meats, cheeses, salad, boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt and cakes. A selection of teas, coffee and milk were available all day as well as fresh fruit and cakes. There was cutlery, crockery, a fridge and microwave for all day guest use. The whole place was pristine clean and staff work hard to ensure it stays that way. The reception staff were friendly, helpful and approachable. I was very happy here, as a solo traveller, everything was to my liking. I would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

A bigger shower cubicle would be nice.

Well located apartment. 15 min walk to the city center. Nerby a lot of restaurants and pubs. Extremly friendly and helpful staff. Room small but there was everything you need. Clean. Delicious breakfast - wild selection of products (ham, cheese, eggs and many more) including snacks, fruits, yogurts. Snacks, yogurts, fruits were available for whole day.

I could hear EVERY sound that the rooms around me were making. Talking, using the toilet, rustling in beds. I didn’t sleep for the 2 nights I was there because people were talking and/or watching TV until 3am and then others would wake up for their day at 6am. absolutely brutal.

Bathrooms a bit on the small side. One, out of order while we were there. Clean though.

The breakfast was excellent. I prefer having a smaller number of quality items over a huge variety of meh and that's exactly what I got. The location was great too, close to a subway station and within easy walking distance from Old Town and Södermalm hot spots.

It would have been great to have AC in the room. In our case it wasn't bad but I can imagine hotter nights to be unpleasant.

Proximity to a walkable mostly quiet neighborhood.

Located above a late night restaurant , lots of loud patrons talking till 2 am and w no AC I would not stay there on a weekend in a room facing the street. Also High price for little value , even a room w shared bath was more expensive than any other place we stayed in Helsinki or EU. . This is an issue thruout Stockholm , not just here.

The staff is so nice to prepare breakfast bag for our early leave. the pub kitchen is alway open to customer , you can find drink and snack anytime. very lovely hotel. worth the price.

The value for money, pleasant staff and location. I stayed two nights (with travels in between). The room I had for the first night was a bit disappointing but still ok - just did not match the photos so it was below my expectations and I would not have wanted to stay in that room several nights in a row. When I came back I was given a much better room and I was very happy with that. All of that said, I would stay there again if it remains good value for money, which it is. I was happy with the breakfast. No complaints really.

Loved the room, staff, location... awesome. Breakfast was simple but plentiful, coffee available throughout the day...loved my stay. Short walk to metro. Retro feel.

Bathrooms in the hall. Look, it's what it is. Not into it? Go somewhere else but you'll miss a great place to stay

Sense of home

Great location, clean, pretty modest rooms. Not luxurious but perfectly adequate and clean and fresh. Very helpful staff, at ease with English (as is everyone in Stockholm).

The shower rooms, many of which are for shared use, are pretty small. But lots of hot water.

The location. The staff are personable, professional, very helpful with maps. The room was comfortable, good hot shower and very quiet. The breakfast spread was perfect to get you going for the day.

Great location, very short walk from the metro, excellent breakfast, very accommodating, helpful and friendly staff. I had an early Sunday flight back home and they were kind enough to prepare my breakfast, put it in the bag so I could take it with me to the airport. Very nice of them. Within a 5 min walk I had one of the most beautiful views on the city of Stockholm. Great stay.
