No temperature control for the room. Stairs only to main lobby. Parking was an added fee. No phone in the room. Step into bathroom almost broke my toe twice. No wash clothes in the room. Had to request additional towels.

Location, price, convenience of restaurant at the site. Staff were fantastic. Breakfast was fantastic! The staff overall were amazing. Very helpful.

Price can be a little more than it is worth during peak seasons, watch out. On site restaurant is only open on weekdays and closed (when we were there) Friday to Sunday.

5 minute walk from Sköve Train station this is a great hotel for a stop over when price is right. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Location is excellent for access to Volvo Plant, which is probably its main purpose. Very nice staff and breakfast is very good. Onsite parking is limited but there is plenty available on street. 10 Minute walk from Skövde center.

No air conditioner in the room, we had to open the window to have some fresh air and avoid the extremely dry air from the heating system.

Room was spacious and looks like was recently renovated. Breakfast was very good!

Decor in the entry and hallways were a bit dark and somber. Hallways very narrow and felt a bit institutional. Maybe needs an updating though everything was neat and clean. Just an observation, not a complaint.

A quick walk from the train station through the woods and we were there. Staff greeted us cheerfully. Breakfast was good. Room was clean. All we needed was a basic room for a one night stay and this was fine.

The hotel appearance is way outdated, the hotel, rooms and bathrooms had lots of cosmetic defects and were in bad shape. The breakfast was pre-booked due to COVID restrictions and sadly in our time-frame there were not bread at all, there was no replacement for finished items in the breakfast bar. For almost 200 Euros for one night (including the surcharge for our small dog) we expected way more from the hotel.

The location of the hotel and the confortable beds were the only positive points.

The exterior is a bit boring looking but don't let that dissuade you. There is street parking in the area but not a lot of it.

Located within five minutes walk from Skövde central train and bus station it is situation directly across from the Volvo campus. There is a restaurant on site and city center is less than ten minutes walk away with easy access to many restaurants and shopping. The rooms are large, comfortable and clean, same with the bathroom and shower. The breakfast is great! Beer, wine, drinks and snacks can be purchased in the lobby and there are many places on all floors for small meetings and quite working.

Ventilation in the room was insufficient so on a warm summer day this was not so comfy. In the heat the carpet became a bit smelly. The shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty. Breakfast room was chaotic, too many guest for this small space. Logistics of the breakfast buffet made it all worse, people crossing between the servings to scramble their breakfast plate.

Came back to the hotel after 6 weeks as I was very happy first time. Location still good with walking distance to downtown Skövde. This time the hotel was completely full (at least that was the feeling you got at breakfast) and parking was not so easy. When the street outside fills up and the few parking spot the hotel has is taken it is some distance to find a public parking spot. Other side of the railway or like many of the guests did this time park in front of the Coop grocery store on the next block.

Not much to complain about. The room was equipped with the most dysfunctional shoehorn I ever have experienced. Tiny and floppy could not offer much help to put on the shoes. ;-) Breakfast was good but skip the apple/orange juice at the breakfast, cheap and watery taste.

Perfect location. Just a few minutes walk from downtown Skövde still off the beaten track with location next to the park. Easy to park outside on street outside hotel or in hotel parking spot if preferred.

The lobby and to a lesser extent the corridors reek of stale food like a school canteen or a hospital kitchen. The basement with the restaurant and the gym is even more depressing than the rest of the building. The distance to the city centre feels longer than it looks on the map, but the city centre is not much fun anyway. That a hotel without either high standards, charm or friendliness still manages to charge highish prices is due, I assume, to lack of competition and the fact that no one visits Skövde without having to.

The room was perfectly fine, as long as you don't make the mistake of leaving it. (Or mind the heat. Or the traffic noise if you open the window to lessen the heat. Or hate the annoying notes saying cheerful things like "we're happy that you're here and surely you are happy too, and we all love another, but hey, we're not going to clean your room even if you ask for it".)
