Great location in centre of Gothenburg, close to all public transport

Shower screen had no seal, so the bathroom flooded when having a shower. Air con was a trickle, so we had to use the fan for air flow. Very stuffy in the room, cooler in the corridor. No regular tea at breakfast, only fruit teas.

Central location. Comfortable bed. Nice big bath. Breakfast had unsweetened muesli - thank you from this diabetic!

Buffet without sneeze protection, a kid sneezed all over the food. Charging for coffee in the foyer machine. There was a lack of basic complimentary expectations. The room felt claustrophobic, black curtains, no outside view only inner hotel view. No natural light. Unable to open window even ajar - no fresh air

We ate at the bistro on our first night at the hotel and were disappointed with the table service and food and drink prices. We elected to eat elsewhere for the remainder of our 4-night stay. A notice in the elevator advised that the hotel was in the process of upgrading its TV offerings which were quite limited, and the broadband (via an open Wi-Fi network) could only be described as adequate.

Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Our 6th-floor room was quiet and comfortable despite facing a busy road and tramline, although we did need to open a small side window occasionally for some fresh air. The room was well appointed (twin beds + 2 additional concealed bunk beds which weren't required but which allowed us a little extra space). Guests were asked to nominate the time they wanted breakfast, and there wasn't any queuing at 8am when we took ours. The breakfast buffet was extensive and well organised, with excellent wait service.

There were construction activities on our Floor. We asked, and the builders would not begin before 11:00. But they started at 7:30. Not nice, but we were upgraded to a very nice room for the next night.

The location of the hotel is great. You walk right into the city centre. The jacuzzi is nice. You have to book it beforehand, but it is free. The staff is very nice.

It's slightly expensive because it's in the city centre. Our room was very small for 3 adults, and a bit hot (fan was provided), but was OK for 1 night. The public areas were clean, but the bedroom and particularly bathroom could have done with more cleaning - not bad, just could be better.

Conveniently located for the main train/bus station and also for the city centre attractions. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bar was pleasant in the evening, though expensive as you'd expect for a city hotel in Sweden. Best feature has to be the amazing buffet breakfast, there is everything you could possibly want and plenty of it. We had to book our breakfast time on check-in as we were told the hotel was full and therefore expected to be busy at breakfast, but we still found it very well-run, well-stocked and with plenty of tables available.

We had no problems with anything.

The location was perfect - within walking distance of the train station and close to parks and shops. Our room was a good size and had everything we needed. There was an excellent range of food available at breakfast, including provision for people with special dietary needs, and despite the hotel being very busy it was well organised so that it wasn't over-crowded. We ate at the hotel restaurant one evening and were pleased with the quality of food and the efficient service. (We stayed at several other Scandic hotels on our trip and found the service consistently good)

There’s a lot of wasted space could have put a fridge in the rooms and tea and coffee .

It is just a short walk from the central station which is a great starting point when in Gothenburg. The rooms felt modern and clean. The breakfast was really good with lots of different options.

This might be a safety issue: on our floor we saw unprotected electrical wires hanging from the ceiling.

Hotel room doors slammed to close, made for a noisy night with people coming and going. Add more hooks in the bathroom for hand towels.

Breakfast was good. The free mocktail for children. Clean and comfortable beds. The fan as AC was not very effective.
